a plane just crashed in my town.
A couple streets away from mine. People aren't sure if it's a private plane or a continental airlines plane. Also no reports on if any people are injured.

All I can hear right now are all the sirens!! And outside my dinning room window there's a giant cloud of smoke.

So just keep the people who are in it in your thoughts just in case somthing went wrong.<3

I was just watching it on FOX, my mom had it on in her bedroom. Something about it crashed into a house, they don't know how many people were in the house, or how many people were on the plane. hope their all okay!

MSNBC is reporting that there were No Survivors. Prayers to the families who will be grieving the losses, to those who are fighting the fire and dealing with the aftermath.

My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who was involved, thoughts and prayers to the families.

Feb. 13 (Bloomberg) -- A Continental Airlines plane crash in Buffalo, New York, killed 49 people, the Buffalo News said, citing unconfirmed reports from Buffalo Niagra International Airport.

The dead included 44 passengers, four crew members and a person on the ground, the newspaper said.

As many has 50 people may have been aboard the aircraft, the newspaper said, citing County Executive Chris Collins. Crew members reported mechanical problems as the plane approached the airport, the newspaper added.

The pictures of the plane engulfed in fire and smoke are horrific.

aparently the house it crashed into had only one person inside, the dad, becasue the mom and daughter were out shopping. Pray for them <3 loosing thier dad and house.... omg.

And to someone who posted, I don't believe it was all business travelers. There was a story about a lady traveling to Buffalo to celebrate her late husbands birthday.

Is there anymore information about how it went down? Really awful.

There were a lot of reports of ice being in the area so they think that it was caused by a weird type of ice on the wings on the plane.

Yeah, that's awful. I can't even imagine what these people went through during the crash.

The news thinks that it might be ice on the wings. But why didn't the pilot alert flight control? Aren't they supposed to be watching for those things!?

They were only 5 MILES from the runway!
