oh my gosh.....oh MY gosh.....oh MY GOSH!!

The whole state of New Jersey is full service. I don't know the first thing about pumping my own gas.

I haven't ever seen a Full service station. I need to move, I guess I have lived a sheltered life!! Here I was excited about paying $1.95 for the lower grade gas...I wish I could pay $1.66, now I really need to move!!

 $6.00/gallon for gas, OMG....that is horrible. I guess I feel better with my $1.95 now!!!

I am absolutely amazed at all the complaining I see about gas prices in the US.

Gas here in South Korea is 4.61 a gallon!

(I'm sure there is some reason like there are no real refineries etc.)

::yes:: ::yes:: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

The whole state of Oregon is full service also. It's actually illegal to pump your own gas.

I heard that we will continually see a decrease in gas prices and then another increase after July 4th.

The "full" service I recieved was the guy that owns the station came out, opened the gas cover, took off the inner cover, stuck in the nozle and let it fill up. Then he removed the nozzle, and closed up the tank. Same price as I would pay for self serve, I didn't ask!

1.99 this morning. Hoping to find cheaper when i'm out and about this evening. Susan

I paid $2.15 a gallon and it cost me :crazy2: $50.00 to fill my minivan's gas tank!!!!!!!!! I miss my old honda civic!!!

Is that a GOOD "Ohmygosh" or a BAD "Ohmygosh"? That is only slightly higher than what we are paying now...about $1.83..

Some places here have dropped to around $1.85

I read an article earlier today on CNN.com that said $1.89 is expected to be the average this Summer. Luckily we always run a few cents below average here.

Our BJ's was 2.09 for regular this morning. I paid 2.07 at a no name station near my house.

We are used to it. We've been paying inflated prices for years now. It doesnt seem to stop people using their cars. It didnt go up suddenly, but penny by penny and in the end you just accept that you need a mortgage every time you fill the tank up.

We love coming over to the US and filling up our hire car for what seems pennies.

Wheezie.

It's pretty much like that all over Europe, isn't it?

That must be why so many of you drive teeny weenie fuel efficient cars! :hyper:

Listen to us complaining...if we end up like you, I bet our SUV"s will be in car heaven.

I WISH high gas prices would drive us away from SUV's but I read demand isn't going down any. I'd love to get a Toyota Prius when there are some used ones around. I think fondly of the Geo Metro we had for 10 years (50mpg)....Now we're driving a Saturn SL2 and Ford Escort SW, both of which get 33 mpg if we're lucky.
