Oh my gosh, I'm a basket case!

Ok, here's the deal. DH, DS (10) and I have had this cruise and WDW trip planned for months. DS (16) decided months ago that he wanted to stay in town with his Dad (my ex). It was all arranged with Dad, all was well, until, all "you know what" broke loose this weekend, and we are supposed to leave town for our drive from Texas to FL tomorrow!!!! Check in at the Beach Club Villas on Monday, cruise on Thursday. Because of the ridiculous situation that took place today between ex & DS (16), DS (16) says he doesn't want us to leave him here, he wants to go with us, he doesn't want to stay here with his Dad. I am so upset about the whole situation, and under the current circumstances, I can't bear to leave him here either, so without hesitation, if he wants to go with us, he's going. I only wish it was that easy.

Here lies the problem, we booked our 3-day cruise on DVC points, in a category 7 room, it only holds 3. DVC Member services is closed over the weekend and DCL can't help me because I booked on points. They did check availability and it doesn't look good but they told me that DVC might be able to retrieve inventory that they don't have. Please send some pixie dust our way and prayers that we can get him on the ship and we can all enjoy this cruise together on Thursday. I'm writing this through tears while I'm trying to pack for a 10-day trip. We are scheduled to leave tomorrow morning so we can get there by Monday afternoon. I'm just in shock that our vacation has become so wrapped up in turmoil. It's just not supposed to be this way for kids. I just had to get this off my chest, thanks for reading.

Pixie Dust and prayers on the way. The good thing is that you hae the BCV scheduled first so you have several days to get the cruise part worked out. Take it one step at a time and get the packing done then deal with the other issues as you can. I bet it all works out and you have a WONDERful time.
