I have to share this with my Disney friends! Well... my boyfriend got us reservations to Club 33!!

Of course, we've been actively "trying" to get in, but we figure it's never going to happen. We've had a few near misses, which only served to bring our hopes up and then smash them back down :).

So, long story short, he got us in! A friend of a friend, etc. We have reservations for after 9 o'clock (I didn't think they went that late!) for next week! I'm hoping we'll be able to watch Fantasmic from the balcony, as well!

Today (well, yesterday, technically, as it is after midnight now) was actually our four year anniversary as well! So this is the best present I could ever ask for! I'm not going to lie, I'm hoping for a little more as well... we've been looking at engagement rings for a while now. A couple months ago, we found a beautiful estate one at Jewel of Orleans. I called today to find out if it was still available... and it is. So, it's on hold for next week ;). Hopefully I'll be able to come back here and give a super happy update in a week or so! Either way, it'll be wonderful just being there!

And, if anyone has any recent info on the Club and such, I would appreciate it!

Congratulations on getting the hardest reservation in town!

To address a few things in your post:
Fantasmic is only running on the weekends right now. You didn't mention when you are going, but if it is uring the week, there will not be Fantasmic. If it is on the weekend, your timing is key. Fantasmic is at 9 and 10:30pm. You will want to think about how to plan that out so you can see the entire show and not just catch the 9pm show part way in.

As for your hope of it being "a little more as well," if you don't mind a small piece of advice: Do everything possible to put that out of your mind. You are going to be eating somewhere very special that few ever get the chance to see. It should be a wonderful night to remember for ever. If you go in hoping for a ring, and it doesn't happen, you will inevitably end up disappointed by an otherwise wonderful night and special dinner. (And of course, if it does happen, it will be even more of an amazing night with a really special story to share for years and years).

Have a nice dinner at the Club!

Some of the Disboard girl's just went there... and had a wonderful time. I hope that you do too! Be sure to get a special memory from there.:goodvibes

Congratulations! Let us know how it all turns out. We're curious as well because we just got invited ourselves for when we go on our September trip to the Expo and DLR. I was told to check out this unofficial site to get an idea about what to expect, dinner menus, what to wear, best times to dine, etc.

I was told that a dinner reservation is the best if you can swing it. Make the reservations two months in advance. Make sure you visit the patio and enjoy a martini (if you drink) just because you CAN. Also, take some cash because they have pins, mickey ears, pens, shirts, etc for sale. You can't leave without stocking up on merchandise. :) If you pay with a credit card, they let you keep the Club 33 monogramed pen. If the CM's have the time and if you ask nicely, they'll give you a quick tour, allowing you to take all the pictures you want. Make sure you ride the elevator up and rather then taking the stairs.

OMG!!! I'm so jealous and sooooooo excited!!! Word of caution, I've been with my DBF for almost 7 yrs (this August) and we aren't engaged, I would hate for you to count on it and then have the disappointment color your Club 33 visit. ENJOY Club 33 as much as you can and enjoy the feelings of jealousy the rest of us have! LOL :)

Congrats! I have been once and it was amazing. Here are my suggestions:
1. have a cocktail, its the only place in Disneyland Park that serves alcohol. I suggest Champagne ;)
2. Eat slowly. Your meal will be a top shelf experience no need to rush things, enjoy every bite.
3. Take lots of pictures, and look in other rooms. The place is just wonderful;)
4. Make sure that when you get there, take the elevator up to the dining floor.
5. Make sure to at least stick your head in the ladies room, it is quite lovely.
and the potties are very unique.
6.Save money to buy souvineers. We purchased coffee cups that I drink out of everyday. It is a nice reminder of that day.
You will feel like royalty. The service is impeccable. I am so happy for you. Have a wonderful time!

Be sure to explore the balconies; they allow you to do so at your leisure!

You HAVE to visit the restrooms, if only to see them. They are pretty cool!

If you get up for any reason, lay your napkin by your plate, then look back to see the napkin folding guy come and snatch up your napkin and refold it for you! That amused my children to no end!

Have a drink with the meal! Or two!

Check out the souvenir case - we bought a bunch of stuff!

Ask if you can peek in the entrance into the POTC ride. They let us peek through the door - it's actually a door that leads down to Blue Bayou but you can see the ride beyond that.

Take LOTS of pictures! Have the wait staff take pics of YOU! We also took pictures from the windows down into the streets so we would know where to look up when we were back downstairs.

Enjoy your very special experience! I hope it's really magical!

Aw, thank you for all the advice and wishes! I'm so excited I don't even know what to do, lol!

I'm afraid I'm going to be "that guest." You know, the super annoying one who's taking pictures of everything and trying to steal, er, I mean, take as a souvenir ;), everything that isn't bolted down! LOL! Are they going to look at me crazy if we buy like 12 things from the cabinet?! Who cares, truthfully! And boy, I will be wearing those ears the rest of the trip.

I mentioned the fireworks and Fantasmic. Our reservation is at 9:30, I believe, so hopefully we'll be able to catch at least part of the fireworks and Fantasmic. I'm so excited to stand on that balcony! I remember being one of the ones below going, "How did those people get up there?!" LOL!

Thanks also for the advice on not anticipating anything sparkly ;). No matter what, it will be an amazing and wonderful experience. But shoot, if it did happen, how could that story ever be beat?! I'm just so excited, regardless!!!

Congrats dont forget to ask for the tour!

You will have a wonderful time!

When we went a couple of weeks ago, the merchandise was sparce. They had men's polo shirts, shot glasses, and ears. No pins and no mugs. :(

We did get a picture of the 7 of us in ears, and we looked around at everything. We went out on both balconies, and since we were there for Sunday brunch, we saw Mickey and Pluto. The food was wonderful, and we all had mimosas to celebrate.

You will have a wonderful time, and I can't wiat to hear how things go!

Speaking of this, anyone in a party of 2 who will be there on 5/2 and would like to join us for lunch at 11:15 am? We lucked into a reservation and wound up with 2 extra seats. PM me if you're interested!!

How awesome of you to do this for other DIS'ers!! :goodvibes We were super lucky/blessed enough to have someone offer us a reservation for our family in 2007, and it was literally the experience of the lifetime. I have often thought of how nice it was of this person to do this for us!! It is very generous of you to extend your seats to 2 DIS'ers.
