I just had to share with my Disney fans! I sent in my resume last night for a position in Orlando, and they called me back this morning! I am working right now, and I am in charge of the phones so I cannot call back until 5 pm.

I am so excited!

is it for the CRO management position? i sent that to my old boss in my call-center, he pretty much had the same reaction, hahah. i'm pretty sure he didn't apply, though.

i was very much intrigued by the logistics coordinator position...but i'm about 20 months behind in what they'd like for previous experience, plus they threw out a million acronyms for systems i have no familiarity with. Sigh.

Oh well...someday!

I'm back! I called back last night and it went to voicemail. Then he called me today, but I was busy at work. So I finally got to talk to him tonight!

It went really well, and he said that he was going to have his partner call me and discuss the position!

It is a limited-service hotel that is 20/30 minutes from Disney and 15 from Universal. It is switching franchises and is over on Orange Blossom Trail. It is very close to the Florida Mall.

I am spending tonight thinking of marketing ideas and researching companies, etc. that are in the area.

I'm so excited! I really hope it all works out!

I had another interview today with a different individual. Yesterday was the owner of a management company and today was the owner of the property. It went great! He said he would call me next week to schedule an in person interview for the week I will be in the area! Hopefully I'll be a Florida resident in less than 6 weeks!
