Oh my! Fireworks up close and personal.

Before my recent WDW trip my eye doc prescribed a new brand of multi-focal contact lenses. Previously, contacts fixed my distance issues but required carrying reading glasses to use my phone or read a menu. With these new ones it's like having actual good vision. I can read a menu and see things far away.

During the MK fireworks things got freaky. For some reason the contacts made it look like some of the fireworks were going off right in front of me, like reach out and touch them close. I actually thought they were shooting off pyro from inside the trees around the hub. It was amaze balls. Now I can't wait to see more fireworks wearing them. Best unintended effect ever!
