World of Color was beautiful! Very well done show....but.....the standing, waiting for the show to start, then standing for the show itself! Holy moly, that's hard on my feet. Looks like it'll be a one-time-per-visit viewing.

The picnic meals were very good. I highly recommend getting fast-passes this way.

Hi, Glad to hear you enjoyed the show and the picnic meals. :thumbsup2 WHERE did you stand for the show?? And did you have a GOOD view?? We will be getting the picnic meals on 8/25. Thanks, Joan

We had BLUE tix. It states right on the ticket to arrive between 7:45 - 8:30 with "no early arrivals" - HA! by the time we got back to the area to wait, there was a huge crowd, waiting to be admitted. So I'd be in the area by 7:30.

We were behind some people in wheelchairs, who were right up to the railing, just above the splash zone (I think the people below us had restaurant dining packages.)

Thanks!!:thumbsup2 It helps to know what color I may get and where to try and STAND!! Joan

We went on the bridge, and were able to sit down after we found a spot. I thought the view was good, although I have nothing to compare it with since we only saw it once. There wasn't anything set up for a line, but coming earlier means you get in earlier.

I would do the bridge again - it was more relaxing although you do have to watch out for people who try to get over the line to watch.

We signed our group up for the picnic as well...what exactly does the World of Color fast pass get you? Unlike the restaurant, they don't have a reserved "area" do they?

You receive a Fastpass when you pick up your picnic lunch. You meet back (ask where when you pick up the lunches). It's kind of a chaotic mess, but you get directed to your "color" aceess area, then you have a choice of going down low, or staying up a little. It sounds like there are places along a "bridge" and at a railing on a walkway. So there are choices among each color areas.

Hi, If you put into SEARCH - World of Color, there is a thread that has lots of info on WOC,including the areas mapped out. It helped me understand the viewing area for WOC much better.:thumbsup2 We are getting the picnic lunches next week and I feel better after reading about the different areas that you stand in and how with the picnic you usually get BLUE or YELLOW. :) Joan

We just got back Thursday night and we did WoC 3 of the 4 nights we were there. The first time was with the dining package with Wine Country Trattoria and the other two were with fastpasses. We were in the blue, red and yellow sections and second from the front, in the middle and in the back. Did my feet hurt after being in the parks all day? Yep! Was it worth it? Absolutely.

My feet didn't hurt as much as my arms and my back did after having to hold my 3 year old through the entire show so she could see (and we were at a rail spot) *Ow*

After our show as we were walking up towards the entrance, one of the Disney survey people stopped us to get our opinions on the World of Color. One question was "What did you like least about WOC?" We didn't hesitate to let them know that making everyone stand the whole time was a bad idea.

What area did you like the best?
