Wouldnt it be super neato if Chris Klein, Josh Hartnett or that Houston guy came forward and demanded a paternity test?

Yeah, I'd like to see that too, but you know the freaky-deaky's (aka Scientologists) would circle the wagons and never allow it. Or even scarier - what if one of those guys had an unfortunate "accident"?? :scared1:

Whoa where did the 3rd guy come from? Maybe I haven't read far enough into the thread yet but I only know of CK, JH, and TC. Who is Houston guy? And I thought Katie was such a sweet and wholesome girl :rolleyes1

I'd guess they would be too afraid of the all powerful TC and his alleged church lawyers to try anything like that. Especially the Houston guy if he's involved in the (alleged) cult already.

No kidding! That why I cracked UP when The Soup said about Inside Edition finding the clip of Tom accepting that award and saying something about them having a 'death wish' !!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Sweet and Wholesome. :rotfl:

Well, thats part of the "WTH?" She 'supposively' was a virgin with Chris Klein, after dating him for how long - years?? And then meets Tommy and in 2 weeks gives it up? I dont buy it...allegedly. ;)

German Academic Compares Tom Cruise To Goebbels

http://www.javno.com/en/lifestyle/clanak.php?id=116128

Respected German historian Guido Knopp has compared a speech by US actor Tom Cruise to the Church of Scientology with a call to war by Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels.

Knopp, an expert on World War II history, said in an interview with Bild newspaper published on Sunday: "Tom Cruise's manner calls to mind Goebbels."

The historian was commenting on a video recording of a rousing sermon Cruise delivered to fellow Scientology members four years ago that was recently posted on the Internet. The "Mission Impossible" star is seen asking fellow members of the church: "Should we clean this place up?"
Knopp said it was bound to remind Germans of Goebbels' notorious call for "total war" issued in Berlin on February 18, 1943.

"It is possible that the way in which Cruise speaks is common in many empowerment circles in the United States," he said. "But the scene in which Cruise asks if the Scientologists should clean up the world and they all respond 'yes' will remind any German with an interest in history of Goebbels' infamous Sports Palace speech."

Cruise's portrayal of Nazi resistance hero Claus Schenk von Stauffenberg, an aristocrat who led a failed plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler in 1944, has caused unhappiness in Germany because of the actor's links to Scientology.

The movement is often described here as a sect that exploits its members financially. In December, regional ministers agreed to investigate the possibility of banning it.

The film, titled "Valkyrie" after the code-name of the plot, is due for release later this year. Cruise's role in the Church of Scientology is examined in an explosive unauthorised biography of the actor by British writer Andrew Morton which hit shelves in the United States earlier this month.

The publication of the book has been given wide coverage in German media. It was described by the Church of Scientology as "replete with lies".

Just when you think this stuff can't get more weird!:sad2: I'll be curious to see how Tom spins this one.

Found a blog today that details one man's experience with the cult of kool aid.

Alright - this is a fantastic read. My boss is gonna be ticked - Ill be reading this all day.

Im only a portion into it - but something that startled me. I mentioned a few pages back about Katie Holmes on David Letterman not just answering interview questions, but turning the questions around onto Dave. Leah Remini did the same thing to Chelsea Handler on her show... and I remember thinking "How freaking odd"

Then in this blog - he mentions how theyre trained to do that. So everyone can realize how much they need Sci, too. :lmao: :confused3 :sad2:

Freaking weird.

She mustve allegedly got a standing ovation for her Dave Interview...she wouldnt stop.

Check this out (Good Lord!!!)

The news of Hubbard's death was first given to a sizeable group of Scientologists, who had been peremptorily summoned to the Hollywood Palladium. Here the elusive Pat Broeker made his first public appearance of the 1980s. The audience was told that Hubbard had decided to "leave the body," because it was hindering his OT research. David Miscavige assured them that Hubbard had "moved on to his next level of OT research." Miscavige added, "This level is beyond anything any one of us ever imagined. This level is in fact done in an exterior state, meaning that it is done completely exterior from the body. At this level of OT, the body is nothing more than an impediment." According to Pat Broeker, "LRH expressly stated that there was to be no grief, no mourning... 'They know they're not a body. Don't let them be confused about it.'"

ALLEGEDLY -

Last week, I met up with a friend visiting from out of state. Somehow, the conversation turned to a restaurant that I like-but the only one nearby is near downtown Clearwater.

I said I wasn't getting that close to there, because I knew far too much about Scientology now. (thanks to this thread, btw). She was worried for a moment, until I told her about the thread. I got "good, you're too smart to get sucked into that garbage" :rotfl2: Then we proceeded to make a lot of fun off the short man!

It's a holiday today, so I was watching E! and saw the show on Will Smith. They were talking about Jada Pinkette Smith being such an independent woman. Will Smith has everything under the sun going for him. He has a happy family that includes his ex-wife and his first son. He has a pretty good movie career. You know he has to be putting money away in the bank.

WHAT DO THEY HAVE ON HIM????? Why else would he be falling for this Scientology garbage???

His wife told him to. :rotfl:
And he obviously wants the same level of fame that TC is currently sporting. Poor guy. :sad2:

:scared1: :scared1: Whats even scarier they teach you this 'technique' in Management School. In MS they say this 'engages the employee to think for solutions and disspell employees 'percieved' problems".:headache:

I know when it is done to me, it peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeves me off to no extreme!

BTW...watch some of the Presidential Debates...you will SEE PLENTY of this!:scared1:

Yeah, but w/the Scientology fame comes the Scientology craziness (allegedly). I mean, do we really want to see Will Smith turning into Tom Cruise, jumping on Oprah's couch, proclaiming to know about stuff he has no idea about?

And, what kind of fame has Scientology brought TC? Seriously! Being crazy, jumping on couches type fame - is that what one really wants? Maybe it's better that people are talking about you (thus keeping your name in the media) for your crazy antics than not being talked about at all!? I think, fame-wise, TC was in a better position before he divorced his wife and all this Scientology stuff hit the fan. It wasn't until the whole "I've dumped Nicole and found me a new sucker named Katie, I'm going on Oprah to jump on her couch and I'm going to make out w/Katie at War of the Worlds premiere" stuff started and then the Brooke Shields PPD antidepressants brouhaha that he really started appearing crazy. Prior to that, he seemed "normal" (or close to it). Don't we have Britney Spears covering crazy already? Why add another crazy to the batch!? If anything, those Scientologists should get their hands on Brit. Her mind seems pretty vacant and programmable as of late!!

If I'm not mistaken, War of the Worlds didn't do so hot at the box office. Katie's movie is currently bombing and who knows what else is to come. Seems like spouting Scientology (or being married to a Scientologist) is not great for the fame. Maybe that's why Beckham isn't quite on the bandwagon?

I cannot imagine how Katie's parents must feel. To watch your daughter get sucked into this and not be able to do anything about it. To know that your Granddaughter is being brought up in an environment that is so vastly different from their Faith (because I do not believe for one nanosecond that you can be Catholic and a Scientologist).

I tell ya, I will definitely know the end of the world is near when I hear that the Beckhams have yielded to the lure of TC & are now Scientologists. :scared1:

I agree, that will be scary. It's really scary to think about people like Katie and Will who have said they are Christian and then turn to this. I can understand people who may not be rooted in a religion previously. I'm sorry but if someone is going to publicly talk about being Christian, they must have pretty strong beliefs and then to be sucked into this. It's just scary that it can happen.

OMG! I thought I was the only one on the planet who remembered (and LOVED!!!!) *V*!!!!

When that brunette daughter of the one DR "fell in love with" the young manly V-Alien??? And got herself "Jamie Spear'ed" by him!!!

Then she had twins - and the alien looking one was actually the 'sweet' baby, and the blonde baby was..... Wasnt her name allegedly Suri?? :rotfl: ;)

I loved that show!
