There is nothing sadder in life than the knowledge that a Disney vacation is coming to an end! I usually have two lists at the end of a trip...one for the things I didn't do that I absolutely MUST do and one for the things I did but absolutely must do AGAIN. It usually makes for a very intense last day.

LOL...I was going to post, "you know it's a great waterslide when..." and then you said it. We are scary in sync!

Bay Lake Tower speaks to me through your TR. "I'm so pretty...you love me...come stay here...NOW!"

OHHHHHH I can almost smell the food and the water for that ride in mexico. That is really one of my all time Favs to go and do and vist in Epcot. Thanks for the video. I really need that today WAIT... That is all i got to see of Kim. Darn it. He does look pretty cute though

Haha I get ridiculous with the picture taking at the end of a trip too, I take pictures of the most random things! It's just so sad leaving Disney, you want to make sure you soak up every little thing while you can!

I love all of your Contemporary pictures! I'm SO excited to stay at BLT in a few weeks, you have no idea! Well actually, you have stayed there, so you probably do! I wish we could get an upgrade to a theme park view room, but then again, it's probably better we don't, because I'll never want to leave!

The pool looks amazing! I never spend much time in the pools, but if it's warm enough, I will definitely be in that one a lot! And the sunset! So gorgeous! Gosh, Bay Lake Tower just looks like perfection! I seriously cannot believe I get to stay there!

Don't worry, you will like Celebrate the Magic (that's what the new MMY is called right? I always forget because I feel like they've used Celebrate the Magic before! ) it is just as wonderful and magical and perfectly Disney! You will cry your eyes out and love every second of it!

Ok, I have a confession to make. I may be a part of the group who considers the Contemporary a least favorite. Now, I know I haven't stayed there yet but I think the thing that was unappealing to me is the "lack" of a theme. I know, I'm nuts. But obviously I cannot wait to stay at BLT in April...ahhh your pictures are killing me! LOVE THEM! Speaking of BLT, maybe I should try to sneak that monorail picture home with me. OMG that is amazing. Disney really needs to sell the artwork. They sell attraction posters, so why not stuff from the resorts?!

It would be so awesome to stay at all the resorts eventually. I don't know if that'll ever happen since we're in DVC. But maybe it'll work out somehow!

It's one of my TOP dream resorts. Amazing! But seriously, even if you get a pool view you'll never want to leave! It's just such a perfect resort.

It is so much fun! You need to go down there and get a whole bunch of pictures! It's so beautiful! AHHH you're just gonna love it.

It's like the same thing when people don't like Animal Kingdom hahaha. The theme of the Contemporary IS the Contemporary! It's classic and modern at the same time... it's the MONORAIL resort... it's just DISNEY. I think you'll totally get it once you stay there! (Hopefully!)

I don't know why people give the Contemporary such a hard time... I stayed in the A frame 2 years ago and LOVED it. But then again, the style of the rooms is definitely my style, clean lines, round design, etc.

I think you will absolutely love celebrate the magic. It's definitely missing some things that I LOVED about MMY, but still a great show!

Have you ever gotten the nostalgia sadness before even going? That's when you know you have it bad! This last time I went, I started out a little sad cause I knew how short my trip was going to be. 5 days is clearly not enough time. You know that saying, "at least you're in Disney?" I don't buy into it... If I'm going to be there, I want a week, minimum!

I think the goal of staying in every resort is totally attainable... I totally have the same goal, and am willing to go as often as I need to make it happen, lol!

Reading all about your balcony views makes ME nostalgic about Disney, and I haven't even stayed anywhere with a balcony. I couldn't imagine how sad it had to be, watching the fireworks for the last time. You seriously made me want stay at a theme park view room at BLT. From your arrival post to this last one...it just sounds amazing. I can't even imagine being able to have the castle be the first view I see when I wake up in the morning and the last thing I see before I go to bed at night.


The pool sounds like it was so much fun. I love swimming around dusk, when you get to watch the sun set. Your WDW trip sounds so relaxing....

Okay I finally have to come out of lurker status and reply. I don't know how I came across your trip report, but I did. My husband and I have been reading it together for months now. Seriously when I see there is an update, it's like a new episode of our favorite show has come on Anyway, I am usually reading on his Kindle and I am not good with touch screens so replying would take forever. Sorry it has taken me until about the end to comment. We have absolutely loved EVERY SECOND of your trip report. It has got to be the best, funniest, most entertaining I have ever read and I've read a lot! We have smiled and laughed a lot while reading it. So entertaining! What are you going to school for? You have a bright future in entertaining me with your Disney trips! I hope you have another trip in the works soon so I can read about it! Seriously though, not trying to come off creepy but we've had a good time reading it. I love how you get so excited about everything! Now I want to stay at BLT so bad after reading this, and the Contemporary hasn't been high up on my list. Maybe if it was cheaper, LOL. Like you we have a goal to stay at every Disney resort! I'm still kicking myself for staying at Pop twice in a row. The best line in your TR has been about being regular fancy and not super fancy. I can't tell you how many times my husband and I have used that line... it's so great. Thanks for being awesome! I can't wait to read the rest.
