A baby corn snake named Burrow. I guess the kids voted on his/her name. What a pitiful name for a snake! Wish me luck!

TC:cool:

It's probably the only time you wished DS didn't raise his hand in class:)

my brother had a big snake house....can't remember what it is called....and we would hold the snakes while he would be fixing up their beds....NOW if the pet of the classroom had a long tail and was a small little critter......HECK NOT.....I hate mice

Oh, goodness, better you than me, TC! I think I would die if Luke or Drew brought a snake home.

Good luck! :)

NO snakes or reptiles of any kind are allowed to come and visit our home from class......yikes!!!:D :D

now I thought you were going to say a....................hamster :D

There is no way a snake would be visiting me for 1 minute let alone the whole weekend!

It's a baby corn snake people, about the size of a pencil. :D  :)

Even if it bit you, it wouldn't hurt. lol

Yikes! A snake, huh? They've got to be my least favorite type of "pet"! LOL Good luck, TC!! :teeth:

No snakes here..... no big snakes, no little snakes..... NO SNAKES. Don't like snakes.... not one bit.

Serena,
I know you have the boas but I am a HUGE weinie and I don't care if the snake is only 1 inch long!! I even scream at the plastic ones. This morning I went to grab some socks from under my son's futon and out popped one of those Native American wooden snakes and I thought I was going to croak on the spot!!:D :D :D :D :D

Eight years ago, when my DD was in 3rd grade - the class pet was a hamster. We had the little darling for a weekend. The next weekend was DD's friend's turn. She (the friend) was sitting on the living room floor, holding the hamster in her hand and her dog (a daschund) came up and gulp! ate in out of her hand!! The poor grandma was mortified and hurried out the next day to buy a replacement! The girl was understandably shell-shocked!!

The teacher was bummed because she didn't want a replacement... Hamster #2 lasted several more months until another of DD's friend's turn came up! Hamster #2 escaped and went down a hea register. The teacher insisted that there not be a Hamster #3!!:)

If a snake was being carried in my front door, I would be running out the back door.

I'm sorry Pam.

I've always gone nuts over mosquitos so I should be more understanding. :D

Well, Serena, I never went nuts over the mosquitos - but now with the West Nile Virus killing folks about 40 miles from here - I will be.:(

I am also terrified of worms - yeah, common, ordinary earthworms. They freak me out!!

Sigh....... it's the pits being such a weinie...... :o
Pam

Well, snakes or not, my family thinks I'm a weinie too.

I'm sorry, but I'm in a family that would love to be on Fear Factor. Not me!
