oh I hate the weather.

Yes, its a job hazard but its really bad now. My mom was supposed to be here now. Well her flight was cancelled due to fog. Of course being the diligent TA and daughter that I am I kept checking and knew before she did. I couldnt reach her ( she had her cell phone turned off) so I had her paged at the airport, couldnt talk to her directly so I left a message to call my brother at work. Of course the guy leaves off that her flight has been cancelled and mom panics thinking something is really wrong.

Ok so maybe I didnt handle that real well but I had called my brother and told him what was going on and we both just assumed she would stay at his house and catch the next flight out in the morning.


Well DB calls back and says " Mom is being bussed to you, she will be in at 4:30 AM" Excuse me???? Apparently they gave her the option of taking the next available flight or taking an 8 hour BUS RIDE and she chose the BUS!


What is she thinking?????




so I guess Im going to bed now because morning is going to come really early tomorrow.

Now I get to go to the airport at 4:30 AM like it wont be foggy then at all Oh well...

BTW, Rick Lantz said it was supposed to clear up by tomorrow night you should be fine.
Sure is ugly right now though.
