Make sure you bring cold remedies with you...the selection is limited once you get to WDW. We are both sick here, too, so definitely be prepared! I hate having to call out of work but at least I can DIS!

Good luck with all of your last minute stuff and your packing! I can't beleive you guys are leaving in a few days! I'm so jealous! You guys definitely deserve a vacation!

We leave in 2 days. Can you believe it? 2 days! I am so ready to be out of here, the cold, the stress, and all that. However I am so not ready, still haven't packed a single thing. Yeah that whole plan of starting over the weekend went right out the window. We did get new tires, and Dan was able to replace the o2 sensor. Now all that needs to be done is a maintenance check at my mechanic and 2 other small things Dan plans to do tonight. Then the van is ready I did get some shopping done as well, Mackenzie our oldest now has new socks, and a few new tops. Alli also finally has a swimsuit, that is a tad too big, but it will work and will fit her really well come this summer. Looking at the temps for the next 10 days they are saying low 70s during the day and 50s at night. I want to get another pair of capris for myself and for Mackenzie. Alli I dont' know if I should bring her some shorts or not??? We are from MI so we are in shorts in the 60s easily. The kids still have no idea we are leaving on Wed. They crack me up, they figured we can leave anytime between today and the 16th, so they were convinced last night we are leaving today or tomorrow. So Dan and I tricked them and started talking about plans for next weekend to pack and do some running and what not.

Dan still doesn't want me to tell Mackenzie on Wed that we are leaving. I really want to, so her and I can have fun packing together since it will be just the 2 of us while he's at work and the others aren't home yet. But I don't want to go against his wishes either.

I found a way to sleep. I take a notebook to bed with me now and I sleep much better. It's almost like I know subcontiously that I can write it down if I need to and so I don't even wake up.

WOW!! You're sooo close!!! I would go bonkers not being able to tell the kids about it! But it'll be so worth it when you guys finally leave!
Good luck with the packing! I always take way too much stuff, so if it were me I'd probably take some extra capris, shorts, ponchos, etc.

I can't beleive you haven't packed. I am ready to do so now and I still have till the end of March! LOL! I have things ironed and on hangers awating to go in the suitcase. LOL! I guess I have way too much time on my hands.

I am glad I gave yuo a good laugh. The notebook truly did help, and it helped last night too, however I got up this morning looking for it and it was missing I found it in our van

I am with you, I will not tell her though, I am going to just pack and go about my business and when she figures it out I'll confirm, that way I can plead the 5th! I can't wait. First have to get through this horrendous day at work, a band concert tonight, and a half day of work tomorrow.

I am a HUGE procrastinator. I said I wouldn't this time, I have had lists for months, but here we are 27 hours from departing our home and nothing is packed. Tonight I hope to get a start, the bulk will be done tomorrow afternoon while I am the only one home.

Yeah I am going bonkers, at least I can talk with people at work and be on here to get some energy out. But it's only making it worse, I am getting more excited each time I mention it or think of it. I am beginning to picture being at certain places with the kids, I get all teary eyed too.

A few more accomplisments last night and today. Finally bought Alli some tennis shoes so she doesn't have to wear winter boots to Disney Was finally able to find a battery for my camera (back up). Dan fixed the wiring issue with our brake lights, and my van is at the shop for a maintenance check right now. Actually it is done, and all looks awesome, aside from the carcass they found in a filter. Yeah, GROSS Less than 100 bucks and the van is road ready!! oK that doesn't count all the repairs Dan did that saved us over 500 bucks in labor costs.

Still haven't touched packing, but I am ok with that, i will get it done tonight and tomorrow in the afternoon while I am home alone with nobody but the dog to bug me.

Welcome home!! I can't wait to read your TR...but I have a feeling it may be bittersweet? I hope you had some pixie dust mixed in with the flu bug!! Good luck with the baby shower..those things always stress me out!!
