I told everyone that is going to the wedding to STOP dieting about 2 weeks before we leave so that they can enjoy the food and NOT get sick!\

Thank you for the well wishes...my 1230 meeting cant get here soon enough so that I can get to my phone call faster! But I have to learn how to write a stinking grant! Ahhh...work first...I love it almost as much if not more than wedding planning *sigh*

Wow, I thought it had way more seasoning in it. Must be the types of cheeses used that give it such flavor. Thanks, I will be making this next Friday since we're in lent and can't eat meat. Yummy with a salad!

Yeah, me too. I thought the recipe was really basic. Maybe it's because there's some sauce that comes with the steak.

Ok so I spoke with my planner...looks like St. James is open and the FB is within our range...now it just needs to stay open for the next 24 days! LOL OH and we would have 1/2 the room to make it smaller...with the patio. With or without the patio I really don't care...but we shall see...

We are looking at other options for the dessert party...She mentioned and sent me pictures for Parisian Point...which would be great b/c it is in France...which is where beauty and the beast took place. However, it looks a little obstructed...Has anyone been there? Seen it? Thoughts?

We are also thinking Grand 1...but the whole 90 days out bit scares me a little...

The view from Parisian Point is obstructed, and the venue guidelines say no chairs and tables are available, so you'd all be standing.

So, after showing DH the St James Room I get *eh* its ok...Can we have dinner at one of the golf clubhouses? *lurkeyloo-PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SAY NO!!!*
So, we are waiting for our planner to get back to us and let us know...augh...I don't want it at the golf course...That is where I have to put my foot down...If I wanted a golf course wedding I would have had a wedding here...boring...At least the St James room is pretty.

Hi, just wanted to say that we had our VR at SBP, with dinner at the Yachtsman Steakhouse and then a Wishes Cruise on the Grand 1. We had no problem booking the Grand 1 at 90 days out, and it was wonderful! There were 14 of us and we had plenty of room to move around and see the fireworks. We also had our photographer, Randy Chapman, with us on the cruise.

I didn't know they had changed the booking window to 180 days though....
