OH BOY! Tell me about May!

So my husband turns to me this morning and says...."I'd like to start going to Florida three times a year". I ask him to repeat what he said because I'm sure I didn't hear him correctly. 3 times a year? Yes! WOOHOO! I love him more everyday.
Because we try to maximize our DVC points, our current vacation schedule is Sept and Jan. Looking quickly at the point charts, May would seem to be our best choice for a third visit. I don't know anything about May...

WooHoo! You're so lucky you get to go 3 times a year!!

We only get to go to Disney usually once a year and we ALWAYS go in May. We found for us we love this time of year the best. The weather is usually in the mid 80's and we rarely get rain. The parks are usually slightly busy but not real crowded.

IMO, May is the best time of year for weather with the end of Sept being a close 2nd. In May rarely is there any humidty and it is usually mid 80's and sunny with little rainfall normally. The crowds tend to increase as the month progresses towards summer but they are fairly low overall.

The flower and garden show at Epcot is absoultely amazing which usually runs mid march through the begining of June. If you have never seen it, it is definately worth the visit alone.

Sounds like its time for Annual Passes (if you don't already have them)! May is nice. Pretty quiet as long as you avoid Memorial Day weekend. Epcot has the Flower & Garden show then. Weather is good - warm to hot but not as rainy as the summer months.

May is Flower and Garden festival at Epcot, and a must do for me, us, even if only a long weekend stay. The Flower Power Concerts are fun to attend, the topiaries outstanding, and it's not as crowded as F&W. April 30 to May 5th, we'll be there and meeting up with some Disers! I have always tried and gotten into BCV for this stay, except last year when we didn't have enough points, and stayed off site , we've added on, so that doesn't ever happen again. Between SAB and Epcot, I don't need to go anywhere else!

We'll be staying at BCV for the first time May 4th - May 9th! In addition to the 5 of us we're also bringing my Mother and my Aunt so the Flower and Garden Festival will be great for us to take in . We've been in May before and loved it ---I'd forgotten about the F & G festival, though.
