Oga's Cantina placement

Has anyone had luck asking to be placed in a particular spot. I have been to Oga's on opening weekend by myself and luckily got a spot at the bar. My wife and I will be going back down in a couple weeks and when we check in I was going to request two spots at the bar instead of the standing tables or booths and wondered if anyone has tried this and had it work. We will wait longer if we have to but would rather get a spot at the actual bar.

I'm sure that if you're willing to wait, they'll accommodate that request. Just be aware that you may not be the only one making the same request.

We were there last week and shared a booth with other folks. The servers were very nice and accommodating, plus no wait to get in. I doubt there would be a long wait for whatever location you prefer. But don't order the lava roll. It was dry/stale/ awful.

I was wondering this myself as I have two small kids (one with mild sensory sensitivity to sound) and was hoping to get a booth so that they wouldn't feel overwhelmed by being surrounded by a crush of much taller standing adults. It's nice to know that we can ask if we are willing to wait a bit.

yep you can ask. Just be advised that you are probably going to have to wait, especially if you want booth seats, since there is a 45 minute limit they turn over pretty quick.

It never hurts to ask. Most times they will try to accomodate. We have done this with several restaurants. We realize that may mean we wait a few more minutes.
