Oga's Cantina after park closing?

I was able to reserve a spot at Oga's Cantina for 8:25 pm one evening of our upcoming trip. The park closes at 8:00 pm. How does that work? Has anyone else encountered this situation?

I think that is a great reservation time to have because this is, after all, a bar. Even though park hours end at 8pm, the rides etc do not close promptly at 8pm. You can hop in a ride line at 7.55 pm and the ride will stay open until all the queue goes through. Just make sure that you are in the park before 8 pm and in a ride queue before 8 pm.
I think Oga’s has a better, more lively atmosphere in the evenings.

What we did was basically hang out in GE until our time. We've had an Oga's ADR after hours twice for 7 p.m. closings, once we were able to get in a little early (with everything closed and pics all taken, we checked in a little early as we were bored lol).

Photographers were around for a little while so kinda cool to take your own pics and, if doing Memory Maker, getting some nice pics with a less crowded land.

The other time for a 7:55 ADR, we didn't get in until after 8 as they were busy. We were the third to last group to leave and had our own personal escort off the "planet" to make sure we didn't hang around. It was fun though talking to the CM on the way out. Eerie though walking out of DHS at 9 p.m. when it closed at 7

Yes, but remember that there are very few food options.
