Oga's ADR advice

My ADR window opens in a couple of weeks (we're staying June 26- July 3) and was wondering if anyone has advice for getting Oga's reservations?

I'm worried we won't be able to get in as we are a slightly larger than average group (5 people), aren't staying 10 days, and only have park passes for 3 of the days at Hollywood Studios, one of which is the second day.

Should I just forget about trying for June 27 and look for the second day we are in the park when the window opens? Will none of that matter because 10 day out people will have them all anyway? I'm mainly worried because I've been looking at the new 60-day-out day when it releases at 6am every day and have yet to see any Oga's reservations available that way (eg. I looked yesterday at June 13 the second it was opened to the public and there were no reservations for any time). Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

I think you have 2 things in your favor. 1. Longer trip with HS days later in your trip. 2. Disney is now releasing longer hours up front.

That being said, I think you'll do better to search for later in your week, but I do think you'll be successful even without a 10 day trip.

Thanks, I hope so! I just happened to end up with HS on days 6 and 8 of the trip as well as day 2, so hoping one of those works out. We do have park hopper too so I guess that adds possible flexibility if there are any late ADRs available on other days.

You should be able to make reservations for all days, beginning 60 days from your arrival. This is for dining ADR and Magical Extras. For example, Our family of 5 will be traveling June 13-19, my booking window opened yesterday and I was able to get ADR to Oga's for Friday, June 18. Would recommend looking for as far out in your trip/DHS day as possible for the best chance. Not sure, but believe you should be able to start booking at 6am on 4/27. I just returned from a spring break trip, which included 2 DHS park reservation days. I was unable to get ADRs for Ogas, until the week of my trip, at which point, multiple ADRs popped up 2-3 days in advance. I believe people hoard ADRs and begin cancelling them about a week to a day or two prior to their reservation. I was able to get ADRs for a party of 2 on both of my DHS days. I only took one of the two, leaving the other for someone else. You might not be able to find a "last minute" ADR for a party of 5, but perhaps your party could split up? As an alternative, you have 40 min at Oga's. If you found an ADR for a party of 2, you could "swap out" with others of your party, each of you then having only 20 min inside, but at least you could experience it. (I was also able to get dinner reservations for BOG and Cali Grill this way).

I think you'll be fine if you book one of your later days. I just booked for June for a party of six and had success at 60+5 but not at 60+2.

As others have said. Try for a day later in your trip. We are there May 26th-June 6th. I tried for and was able to get Oga’s on our 3rd day at HS, which is June 4th. This was the 1st reservation I looked for that morning.

I just booked yesterday for my trip June 13-19. I started with Ogas at day 5 of my trip and secured that one. I then looked at day 3 and also found one for that (although it is at 10:30 in the morning but day drinking on vacation is ok???) My best advice is to look for one later in your trip and take a time that sort of works for you and then see about modifying.

Ugh....we're also going in June and I can't, for the life of me, get an Oga's reservation. Very frustrating! That was the first one I tried for too, a week ago. Oh well, I'll just keep trying I guess.

Was it worth the split of 20 min to experience Oga's? Meaning, was it a really enjoyable and different experience. I don't know much about Oga's.

Same experience exactly the other day. Oga’s was not available before +3, limited at +4 and wide open at +5.

I was able to get a 60+6 and 60+8 this morning for a party of 6 no problem. Lots of availability. I think you are fine 5 days in or later. I don’t have any earlier scheduled HS days.

I would make a reservation for 4 and then when you get there tell them that your friend met up with you guys and you need to add an extra person.

I know you’re answering the op, but oh I hope that’s the case. (Last minute) We didn’t even book our trip 60 days out and I’ve been unsuccessful at getting Oga’s.

I pay for them too but I’ve missed like 7 of them. Either it didn’t wake me, I was away from the phone, in the shower, or it was midday and even though I clicked right away someone else snapped it up. Still hoping to get lucky!! Trying to keep my phone glued to my side and I saved the phone number they come from and set a really obnoxious text alert sound to it. Glad you got one! I still have a week.
