Just wondering if any recent offsite visitors can share their experience with FP+ and waiting in the kiosk lines? We plan to hit the parks at rope drop as usual but we are used to getting multiple rides on the headliners. Thanks!

My understanding is as long as you have your tickets purchases ahead of time you are able to link them to your MyMagic+ account you can use your ticket just like a MagicBand and sign up for Fastpass+ ahead of time. Also the kiosks to get Fastpass+ hardly have lines.

Is this true ^^^ everything else says reserve at the park that day only!

I have read that too. I am an AP and had my ticket before my reservation and was able to book FP+, now I don't know if that was because I was an AP? My suggestion is to try it. If it doesn't work the kiosks are great, I used them to change our FP+ several times just last week.

I'm pretty sure it's because you're an AP holder. Off-site guests purchasing non AP tickets can only reserve in the park the day they visit I think. ON site guests have the benefit of reserving 60 days out.
It looks as though there has been plenty of availability, atleast were MK attractions are concerned, apart from Wishes and MSEP which can be hit and miss.
As far FP kiosk lines are concermed in MK, the best/quietest location for the kiosks is in storybook circus. I'd stay well away from the kiosks by Space Mountain (and isn't there one by Mickey's Philharmagic)

I hadn't heard that either. We already have our tickets from UCT. That would be great!

I am thinking it is because you are AP, but I am okay with it it if not! :)

We are offsite guests as well. Checking here daily for updates for offsite guests

This is correct.

So, should we head to Space and get as many rides on that as possible and then head to Storybook Circus to book the FP's or would it be too late by then?

What about at DHS? RNR is top priority but kids love TSMM too.

Thanks everyone! I feel like newbie all over again!

I too have an AP and since I had a "purchased" ticket I was able to make FP+ selections ahead of time.

I don't see why that wouldn't work for you but hey there have been so many issues with MDE it wouldn't surprise me. I agree with the quoted poster that you should try it and see. If not you didn't lose anything.
