We've got tickets for the Early Morning Magic event on 5/28 and are staying offsite and I'm looking for advice on the best way to get to the Magic Kingdom that early. We'll have our own vehicle, so can we just park at the TTC and take a ferry like normal or is there a better way to get there by 7am or so? We would like to be there a bit earlier than necessary to take some pictures outside of MK. Thanks!

1. Most days, the ferry boats are not running that early.

2. If the resort monorail is running, you can ride it to MK.

Otherwise, park VALET at the Contemporary and walk to the MK gates.

following up on Robo's post - I think valet parking would be the easiest / least stressful (then you can just walk / not worry about the ferry/ monorail etc). I heavily suspect on the Early Morning Magic hour days they'll have something up and running since they'll be expecting a fair number of offsite folks to buy tickets/ enjoy the event.

I read a first hand report last week that said the ferries were running but that the monorails were not. Also, the parking tollbooths weren't even open yet, so the writer just drove on through and parked in the now premium parking spots for free. :-)

Thanks for the quick responses! Is there an additional cost (other than tip) to valet park at the Contemporary or is it just the normal $20 parking fee? Also, if I valet park, am I good to leave the vehicle the entire day? We expect to stay in the park until after the nighttime fireworks on that day. Thanks again for the help!

I would be interested to know as well. We have been to the parking tollbooths before they open and you can just drive on in. Seen the Ferry run pretty early, but hard to count on that since they officially don't start until 30min prior to park open. I also suspect that Disney would start transportation options early to account for the early morning magic ticket holders.
