Offsite stroller rentals?

Any reviews for an offsite stroller rental for Disneyland? I have my go-to place to rent for Orlando but don't really know anything about the options in California. I have found several options but wondering if anyone can shed some light on companies you have used before? Thanks.

Any reason to go with an off site place over just getting one at the park? Is the price difference enough to make a difference?

In general the price difference is pretty large plus you can you it for the walk back and forth from the hotel which would be a huge bonus.

We are renting from offsite because I don't want to haul my large one through the airport, and we will need one beyond just inside of the parks as we will be walking back and forth from the hotel. Plus the ones you can rent offsite are more comfortable than the in park ones for smaller kids. My DD will be only 20 months so I need something I can recline back for her to nap in the parks.

Note, even if staying at one of the three Disney owned Hotels, the in park rentals only are good for the two main park areas, and not Downtown Disney or the Hotels. So for most folks, it is much better to goo off-site, or just buy one when you arrive.

Also, unlike WDW, there are many nearby things to see and do off Disneyland property, so it comes in very handy if planning to do other things.

Plus they have much nicer strollers for rent than the Disney ones.

This is an excellent point. My DD will be four months old and a recline (or a bassinet) are pretty vital for her. I tend to wear her when we do long walks, but I've been thinking that might become a bit much for the both of us after a while. With my nephews we just used the park strollers inside the parks and carried them around outside the park, but we do stay on the property, so it's not a long walk. Thanks for starting the thread!

No problem! Glad it could help. My DD has been going to Disney World since she was 3 months. The City Mini strollers that most of these companies rent were perfect for her, especially on those early trips. The sunshade is big, and the seat reclines almost flat so she could lay comfortably in the stroller when I wasn't wearing her. Now she is bigger and sits up just fine in them, but it's still nice to have that more full recline when she needs a stroller nap. The stroller we have at home doesn't recline very far and the sunshade is not very big.

We used City Strollers for a double stroller and we didn't use it often but for nighttime events it was nice to have on that loooong walk back to the hotel! They seemed a little scattered but came through! I thought it was pretty cheap too!

I have used City Strollers twice (the City Mini GT double stroller) and couldn't be more pleased with the service. I thought the price was great, it's nice how they deliver and pick up from your hotel so you don't have to do anything, and the stroller itself was great. I highly recommend them!

City Stroller is who we used as well. We stayed at 2 hotels during that time and it was no problem to have the drop off of the stroller and pick up at two different locations.

I have been trying to make a stroller reservation all morning. City Strollers' website has a glitch and won't take my reservation. I've tried to call and was on hold for over 10 minutes. I have to admit, that makes me kinda nervous. Does anyone have any other stroller rental suggestions?

We used City Stroller on a previous trip and I would totally use them again if I needed a stroller. It was SO convenient to not have to turn the stroller in at the end of the day and then drag 2 super tired & exhausted kids walking back to our hotel. The stroller was in excellent condition. And it turned on a dime. I was able to have 1 kid in the stroller, hold the hand of my other child, and steer the stroller with one hand through Disneyland all day long.

Try again with City Strollers, they really are "with it", so today might just be a bad day for them.

Also, note, their main delivery times is in the morning (Pacific Time), so maybe waiting until the afternoon would get your phone call answered quickly.
