Offsite security question

My sister and I are planning a trip next June and will most likely stay offsite to save on expenses. I know if we stay in a hotel that front desk staff is available 24/7 but I would like to know about security at condo rentals.

What type of security/monitoring is there at condo/villa rentals? Are they gated or staffed 24/7?

I would assume that a place like Sheraton Vistana villas would have security but what about a place like Windsor Hills? I just want to make sure we don't feel too isolated.

That's going to vary by location. Some are gated with security and some aren't.

I know Wyndham Bonnet Creek is gated with 24-hour security, but you're going to have to check on each resort you're considering.

Windsor Hills is gated. As Jim mentions, others may or may not be. If you are not sure, just ask.

We stayed at WH last October and I felt like it was a safe, secure place. Gated, friendly. In all honesty we never worried .

Windsor Hills, Windsor Palms and Emerald Island all have 24 hr manned gates/ security. Reunion Resort has manned security and also has patrols that drive through the resort regularly.
