Offsite restaurants-sorry!!!

Chevy's - Mexican and located about 1 mile from DTD.
Qdoba - is a some what fast food mexican place that has great food. It too is not far from DTD.
Sweet Tomatoes - sign up on their web page and get coupons.. They have a coupon where 4 can dine for $20. They are a salad bar buffet place that also has pasta, soup, pizza.

Bahama Breeze is a nice sit down place.

Joe's Crab Shack - not far from DTD.

Fuddruckers is a hamburger place that has a ton of toppings to pick from.

All of the following are clearly just my opinion.......

Miller's Ale House is spit and sawdust but fabulous bar food. They do great milkshakes too. I am addicted to their Zingers which IMO the best boneless chicken strips around. Their Philly Cheese Steak is my fave ever too.

Melting Pot which is fondue. It's not for everyone, you either love it or hate it. The cheese and chocolate fondues are out of this world and I adore their salads too.

I second Chipotle whole heartedly. We have tried a ton of mexican sit down restaurants and none even come close to the deliciousness of Chipotle. Its counter service but seriously do not let that put you off. Its prob not authentic but its the best mexican food I've ever eaten.

Burger 21 for burgers obv lol. They used to only have 2 locations in Tampa but they are expanding and have just opened in the strip up at Millenia. OUTSTANDING burgers. I'm not a huge burger fan but I would eat Fuddruckers at a push so we would frequent there. Burger 21 is not only cheaper but also far superior meat and their fries ooooooooh their fries :faint:

Thai Silk by Red Bamboo. If you like Thai, this is the place for you. A total whole in the wall. Looks like a bit of a dive with neon signs etc but inside they have just refurbished and its clean and tidy. Amazing thai food, even better than our fave place here at home.

Panera Bread, great for sandwiches, soups etc. Perfect breakfast/lunch stop.

I could go on forever but I'm prob boring you now lol.

Links in my signature to my two dining on a budget reviews with pictures - lots of cheaper places we like like perkins, friendly's, village inn etc.

ooooh, sooo many great food photos. I'm starving now! :goodvibes

I love Perkins. If you get a muffin (blueberry especially) ask them to toast it. taste sensation!!!

Dene

Glad you enjoyed.

Neither thought to ask for a toasted muffin sounds good :cool1:

Texas Roadhouse is awesome, but another option that I can't recommend highly enough would be Olive Garden. It's Italian and it's delicious!
