pirate: Hi HO All!
Booking for July and need opinions for 2 days off site. We won't be going to the parks these days so looking for a close hotel/resort. Also hoping for the breakfast included. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Not sure what you're asking - Are you staying on-site for the parks, then looking off-site for the 2 non-park days, or just looking for 2 days to stay in the area?

I love staying at the Swan or Dophin when I'm not going to the parks. There's so much going on in the area - miniature golf, grotto pool for swimming, the Boardwalk, etc. that it's a mini-park in itself!!!

HTH!!! :teeth:

Garshhhhhh So sorry Lovs2travel thought this board was Orlando Hotels and Attractions.

staying on-site for the parks, then looking off-site for the 2 non-park days, Any feedback on the hotels near market Place? Thanks

Hi! Since we have always stayed in the vicinity of the Marketplace when offsite, I thought maybe I could help. We love the Lake Buena Vista area. We have stayed at the Comfort Inn Lake Buena Vista (nice, clean, basic accomodations at a reasonable price), and both Hawthorn Suites and Homewood Suites (we had suites, they were very roomy, housekeeping was excellent, public areas were very well maintained, front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was included). :) Overall, we were happy with our accomodations. We were very close to Disney and a short drive away from Sea World, Universal, and Wet N Wild. I think it is the perfect location for anyone planning on visiting different attractions in Orlando. Hope this helps, if you have any more questions, just ask. :earsgirl:

Last October we spent 8 nights at the Country Inn & Suites in Lake Buena Vista. It is not too far from Disney, includes a continental breakfast daily, fresh baked cookies, etc. and we LOVED the place!

We stayed in a Country Kids suite, so the kids had their own small room with bunk beds. Rooms included micro & fridge too. Used AAA discount and paid $75/night (standard rooms were more like $59).

Also, CIS offers points through Goldpoints.com so after our stay we earned a free night's stay which we're using this Friday in MN.

We've stayed at Country Inns and Suites, Calypso Cay many times (usually our first night before checking into DVC) and really love it there. There are 3 pools, free mini golf, a pool bar, a fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the rooms and a really nice cont. breakfast. It is very clean and only a few minutes from WDW.
