Offsite FP Frustration

Even going when the crowd calendar is light. I love booking my FP 30 days out knowing that anything worth getting a fast pass for is going to be out of luck.

7DMT? Forget about it.

The key to getting FP+ while offsite is being up at midnight the night you can get them. I was able to get all the passes I wanted, even 7DMT, during Spring Break. Although some of them were later in the day. Never got Anna and Elsa, but that FP+ is going away so that should level the playing field a little.

Its not going away for good. Its just in flux for the end of May because Disney isn't sure what exact date they are moving to Epcot. Once they get it determined, they will reinstate for Epcot and it will most likely be a Tier 1.

2. And, if so, the Epcot Tier 1 attractions list of going to be very problematic to a lot of guests, especially families with younger kids.

Well it reads that way because they aren't coming back to MK. In any case, I heard today that they are going to be extending their stay at MK for a few days into June so they will release FP for that. That was from the HUB (the cast member website).

I just booked a A&E FP+ for June 4th. You may want to go and check quickly to see if they have added them for your date. Someone said they will be there till the 11th.

I was really nervous this time last year because we were going over 4th of July week and traveling with a family who was staying on site, we were off site. I stayed up every night until midnight, I made sure I was all logged in and ready to just hit refresh and go. I plugged in my options then confirmed those were indeed the options that came up and I took them not even bothering to look at any of the times. Once I knew I had them locked in then I went back and tweaked the times to match our friends'. I was able to secure everything I was looking for and able to overlap them with the other family with no problem at all. This included 7DMT and Wishes (we didn't meed A&E). Don't give up hope!

No, they are ONLY available until the 11th. Currently, anyway. They could potentially add more dates if moving to Epcot gets pushed back even further.

If it's not ever coming back, I would say that explicitly. For instance, when LMA was an option I noted that it "closes permanently April 2". Otherwise, pretty much everything is subject to change. My soothsaying skillz only extend so far.

It is not really a big deal, I never said it was gone forever either. I just said it is going away. I realize that everything that goes away may not be gone for good.
