Offsite for 5 adults and a 4yr old - help please!

We will be at WDW for 5 days/4 nights in early Feb 2011. Have reservations for a 2BR at Liki Tiki, but am now nervous as I have heard some not so stellar reviews. Also it will be MIL/FIL in the King, adult brother and 4 yr old on the twins in 2nd BR and hubby and I on sofa. Hubby is 6'4" and neither one of us is tiny. Not sure how the sofa bed will do either. We were considering looking elsewhere and found rates around $100/night for a 3BR at Cane Island for ($110night w/no cleaning fee.) Emerald Island 3 BR TH (84/night -$75 cleaning fee), Windsor Palms 3BR Condo ($77 night -$75 cleaning fee) Mystic Dunes ($107/no cleaing fee) Due to major buget issues (I know a lot of folks are in this boat) we need to keep the lodging at $500 -$550 for the 4 nights (so a WDW resort is out of the question) :-( I would greatly appreciate any input on the resorts mentioned or advice on other places for 6 people (mostly adults)

Check out this townhouse at Westwynd Bay. The development is right next to Windsor Hills. It has a queen and full bath downstairs, king master ensuite, and twin room plus another full bath upstairs. Plus a sofabed downstairs. Maybe MIL & FIL would be happy in the queen downstairs and you and DH could have the king master. You and DH will be miserable on a sofabed.

I always suggest not to use a sofa bed if you can help it. They are not the most comfortable things to sleep on.

I would definitely look at a 3 bedroom property. If it were me, I would go for a town home over a condo (less chance of having noise from neighbors, plus you can generally park outside the home).

If you are planning to use community amenities, Windsor Palms has more facilities than Emerald Island. Sorry don't know about the amenities on the other communities.

Please do not sleep on a pull out couch!
This is your holiday and you do not get them that often. Have a place where you and your husband can close a door and have a refuge from the world. You deserve it!!!

Try to look into a four bedroom you will be so much happier trust me.

EIR hae beautiful 4 beds and a Tiki Barfor a night cap with your other half. Treat yourself just a bit it will be a long time before you get another and I know you deserve it!!!

Try Cypress Pointe Resort! It is in a great location for Disney and for Sea World! It is 5 mins to Downtown Disney! They offer 3 bdrms! We rented one last year from an owner and we paid $765 for 11 nights! This year I have rented a 2 bdrm unit for a week in March for my niece for $490 all taxes and fees included, and a 2 bdrm for 11 nights for $710! Or try myresortnetwork.com they seem to have great prices on there, that is where I found this owner!

We loved the townhouse that we stayed in at Windsor Hills Resort. Its very close to Disney and has a pool with a water slide and a movie theater ( my daughter's favorite part. We had the whole theater to ourselves with a movie that she picked out!) Their townhouse is on Vrbo # 293708
Hope this helps! You don't want to have to sleep on a sofa bed for your vacation! It is a vacation after all!
