Stupid question, how can I use FastPasses if I'm not staying at a disney hotel? Do they scan your tickets or do I need to print a confirmation page? My window opens in a few days.

Stupid question, how can I use FastPasses if I'm not staying at a disney hotel? Do they scan your tickets or do I need to print a confirmation page? My window opens in a few days.

We bought our tickets (APs actually) and linked to our MDE.
Vouchers were redeemed for actual physical tickets that we then used for park entry and FP redemption. (Can't recall the acronym--they are RFD cards or something? They are now plastic card tickets and not the former paper tickets. And one of those digital squares (I am so technical! Lol ) is on the back and that gets placed on the Mickey readers in the park.) My 4yo does her own and we just remind her "square to Mickey" and we wait for the green light.

If you already have the physical plastic card tickets, you are good to go for "square to Mickey".
