We just got back from Disney after renting an
ECV for two weeks from walker. Pop Century referred them to me, and the price was just right!! I would say what I paid, but since I did days here, updated it for a few more days, and then a whole week, I'm just lost as to the real total price after all that. I can tell you that if you can rent for a week there's a discounted price compared to just a few days, and they were such a wonderful company to deal with!!! We encountered NO problems whatsoever!
Anyhow, I've rented from another company back in 2006 and hated it. We had to switch their chairs out three times in one week for lack of working and of course it would always stop way in the back of different parks, ughhhhh. Our mistake with choosing them back then was we went with what would be the cheapest company to work with. Well, you know the saying, "you get what you pay for"
Needless to say, we started taking my own personal chair from that point on.
However, we didn't take it this time in Jan.-Feb. because we took a train to Florida and found it would just be way too much work!
Anyhow, I REALLY wanted to say that the best advice I can give you for charging the chair/any chair used for most of a day, is exactly what walker will tell you too! Charge it EVERY NIGHT!!!! Also, through out the day turn it off when you're eating or staying put for a few minutes. Lastly, we always carry the charger in our bags because we're the type of people that keep going and going and going from morning until they close (sometimes even until downtown closes)....If you find that it's dying, you can find many outlets available if need be, sometimes you can even find air-conditioned locations to sit and have it charge while enjoying the cool breeze!
