I am looking for an officiant. My DF and I are not very religious we are just looking for someone who is fun and will give a short nice ceremony. Anyone have any suggestions?
We had rev. Jack Day, although I had a very religious ceremony, he does give you a variety of prgrams to choose from and you can take out and add what you would like
Rev. Tim Herring has a variety of cermonies to choose from.
I was in a wedding recently and he was the minister. He added
in a little humor too. Short ceremony, but very nice.
We are having a non-religious ceremony. We were originally going to go with a notary, but heard from several people that the person we chose booked a lot of weddings and kept to a tight schedule and kind of "rushed things". We were put off by that, so we looked into Rev. Jack Day. I LOVE him! He is the cutest sweetest guy, he has 2 civil (non-religious) ceremonies in his "Jack Pack" and i love the one called "New Civil Ceremony" I cant wait!!
*(I typed up the New Civil Ceremony to have it framed if you want me I can email it to you- just PM your email address!)
we arent very religious either...rather than go with a notary, I actually had one of my best friends to get ordained and be the officiant. Not only does it save you the headache of having to find someone, but it really has seemed to make every one smile who is coming to the wedding(including us). just my two cents
I used Rev Jack Day. He was a perfect choice!!! We basically used his guide with the non relig ceremony but added our own bits to make it more personal.
Although we had only met him on our rehearsal, he made me feel so comfortable I felt like I had known him for years.

my brother& sister-in-law had Rev Tim in 2003 and he was quite funny
we are having him also when we get married in sept so hopefully he is still the same as he did have a few laughs from us all
