Still slightly nervous for my trip since we are supposed to leave this Wednesday. I haven't let myself get truly excited yet. If I wake up tomorrow and my Wednesday flight isn't cancelled... then I will do my happy dance! Fingers crossed for pixie dust!

I am most excited about our first mod stay at POFQ and seeing my ds with talking Mickey 4 th from but first time going to this one.

And because my single digit dance was a quiet one. 6 more days!!!!

This time next week we'll be in Hollywood Studios looking forward to our meal at 50s Prime Time!!!

Slightly nervous that the parks will be packed now when we go (starting the 24th.) I am glad that everyone is able to reschedule, but it seems like most are rescheduling for that week or the next one. I am afraid it will be like summer or holiday crowds. (We aren't rope drop people.)

I am excited!!!
This is my last full week at work. Last night we talked about us finishing up clothes shopping, packing and the girls getting their hair/ nails done. Tomorrow is my single digit dance day!!!

Atlanta radio said that there were a lot of people heading south on I-75 back to Florida yesterday. I figure there will be even more people on the road heading back today.

I am hoping that most people that rescheduled did it for next month or farther out too.

11 days for me!! We are north of Atlanta and had Irma come through yesterday (kids were out of school). I used the unexpected day off to clean and pack! Getting excited!!! I swear, this HAS to be my best trip ever because I have stressed out so much over it and I'm just so relieved and grateful to be going. Cannot wait to stay at AKL Kidani again... I'll be so relieved when we are there!

But my second trip is getting closer. Down to 12 days. Actually starting to pack up some stuff. And thinking about what to bring.

This will be an interesting trip. We are staying at All Star Sports, and I've never staying at a Value. And I am vacationing with my best friend. She hasn't been to Disney in at least 25 years. But my husband and I are DVC members.

My Mom is just east of Atlanta in Loganville. My sister is in the Stone Mountain area. Both of them lost power yesterday (Monday) morning. I talked to Mom last night about 8 pm your time and it was still off.

I mentioned this to my husband and he (being less anxious than I am) reminded me that 1) the people on this forum are probably more commitred than average; 2) most people don't have the work or school flexibility to bump a trip by a week if they weren't already scheduled off; 3) some traffic from out of state will be offset by in-state people who might have come but are just busy trying to get life back to normal.

We will nevet actually know if park volume is higher or lower due to the hurricane or anything else. We plan to just go with the flow and hope for the best <3

We are next door in Alabama. Auburn, to be exact. Some wind, some rain. That was all.

Now, there are people without power. But ours never even flickered.

I'm with your hubby. I've seen several people mention they were rescheduling for October and January. I might have seen one person mention pushing it back one week. But, yes, for the most part I don't think people have that kind of flexibility. I am interested to see what traffic will be like, though.

I was planning on visiting some friends in Tampa on my drive back home. I'm wondering if I should rethink that.
