Officially Freaked Out by Photopass

So I said I wasn't going to post and did not mean to but do people honestly put their real birth date and personal information? Honestly I never would.

I know that if I had been in the park and say (for example) one of my DD was kidnapped, you can be sure that I would be all over Disney wanting to see their camera footage wanting to know where she was last seen in the park and who she was with, and I also bet all of y'all would want this info then.

Years ago, my family went to an indoor waterpark in Ohio, and they really intrigued me with a feature of their Tyvek wristbands... There was a map of the place on a wall in the lobby, and if you scanned your wristband, then little lights would illuminate on the map of the location of the others in your party. It wasn't super accurate, didn't differentiate from locating your napping husband from your wandering three year old, and since it was in the lobby and a bit of a walk from the waterpark area, the kids would have moved on from where their light was to a different area. But I've been waiting for WDW to make this a feature of the MagicBands. You could use the MDE app to find your kids. It would be a big boon to groups like school organizations, bands, cheer squads, etc. If your lost kid finds a cast member, they could find where YOU are in the park.

Both sides have been represented. The Tin Foil Hat crowd and the Head in the Sand crowd
I'm between the 2 personally. I don't think everything is tracked and ignored but I don't think they are after my bathroom habits either.

The plastic tickets can not link to the Ride Photos
Now, everyone riding does have a photo taken, MB or Plastic tickets.
If you buy a plastic ticket and have an MDE account then it may just automatically email you a canned email, if you link the 2 somehow
Does bring up a question, do the day visitors who buy plastic tickets at the gate, never purchasing MB, have to make an MDE account to book FP once they enter the parks?

There is some misleading info here. Last year I purchased MM and was staying offsite. I got a MM card and took as many pics as I could fine photographers for. My ride photos were on them too, so the plastic MM card does give you the ride photos, you ticket has nothing to to with photos
