Hi all! I am officially a Floridian now so I am going to get my Florida Resident AP ASAP!!! Just wanted to say YAY!!! I have been a member of these boards for 10+ years (I had an old screen name that I used to use but changed emails and got locked out so had to start a new name) and have not been on in a while. But now that I am living here in sunny Florida I am looking forward to being at the parks whenever I get the chance!

Congrats! Enjoy your AP!

I know that feeling of getting an AP. I remember just wanting to celebrate after picking mine up at MK, but I was by myself and just had to do a little happy dance and fist pump instead:)

Congrats! We are AP holders but not FL residents. So, we plan a few trips a year but you can be there all the time!!!

Moved down here just last June, got our APs and have been to each park at least once. Our visits are so nice because we can just go for a few hours and be totally happy. Most of the time we can grab some last minutes FP+ for just about everything, except for the extremely highly over-rated FEA (do the sing along at the studios instead), the over-rated 7DMT and the wondrous, and almost impossible to get FoP. We can even get Test Track, but so far, we're 0-2 in using them as it seems to be down a lot. Even Soarin and TSM can have openings only a few days in advance. We also get to see so many shows and parades we have skipped before in order to concentrate on rides. Two weeks ago we went to Epcot for F&W and didn't ride a single thing. Yet we had a great time.
The only caveat that trips me up is that you can only pre-arrange FP+ in a single park per day. Yes, once you use them you can grab another FP+ at a different park, but you can't pre-book two parks on the same day.
Most importantly, enjoy and have Fun. The rainy season should be ending and hurricane season should be calmer, so it is a great time of year.
