Made my fastpasses Friday & online check in done! It seemed hard working out FPs for Frozen & Soarin' (both new for us) so feel like we'll be at EPCOT a lot but that's better than poor Studios without Rockin' it was easy picking Toy Story for that tier 1. and no Big Thunder either is a bummer.
We were at Epcot about 2 weeks after Frozen and Soarin' opened, on a Saturday, and only had FP+ for Soarin' mid-morning. On a lark, we decided to walk over to Norway upon arrival in the morning and the Elsa/Anna M&G had a 5-minute line (compare to a few years ago and people were waiting for six HOURS!), and Frozen Ever After showed a 45-minute wait, so we got in line. Our actual wait was more like 20-25 minutes (DH could tell you exactly how long because he likes to stopwatch wait times!

) and we almost didn't have enough time to gawk at the details while in queue.
We were also at Epcot last Saturday and Soarin' had a 50-minute wait mid-morning and Frozen had a 120-minute wait.

So I guess it's a tossup on wait times for those two particular attractions, but if you can get to the park early enough, you might only need 1 FP+.
As for me, I've been procrastinating on booking our hotel - I was waiting for them to release AP-Holder discounts (the long-running late summer/early fall one was only through Nov 5), and now most everything except deluxe resorts are sold out even at rack rate. Looks like it'll be an off-property stay for us, which is fine, just really weird. I've always booked race weekends about 2 months out and could still get a room of my choice of resorts. But I guess with the F&W crowds on top of the race crowds, there isn't much left over. But that also means no advance planning FP+ for us that weekend, we'll be lucky to get any Tier 1 rides 30 days out. Oh well.
