I had to return a few things to Walmart last night so I was looking at their Wii games. I came across a two-pack of games for $29.96. They had different packs but the one I bought had these two games in it (link with description at Walmart included)...

We haven't played them yet )DS#2 is getting them for his birthday in 2 weeks) but they look really cute for younger kids. They also had one that had two racing games. It is nice to find some games that don't cost $40+ each!!!

Does anyone know when Mario Kart for Wii will be released? How about Sega Tennis (I think that's what my son said that it is called)?

I think those are both 2 little known, but good games especially for the younger ones like you said. There's actually a little cult following for Ninjabread man among the 20 somethings. Mainly cuz we think the name is genius. lol

Does anyone know when Mario Kart for Wii will be released? How about Sega Tennis (I think that's what my son said that it is called)?

You can find release dates for games by going to http://wii.ign.com and searching the game title. Of course that doesn't always work.

Mario Kart has no release date, but it's projected to come out sometime this spring.

Sega Superstar tennis is scheduled for March 4.

That is good to know! I figured for $15 a piece I couldn't go too wrong. The ninjabread Man name cracks me up as well! I'll report back once we have played them!

BTW, I'm up to 40 stars in Super Mario Galaxy and I just got my first green star yesterday

Costco had these as well. I can't remember the names of the other games. They were selling a 2 pack of games for other platforms as well.

They also had that Winter Sports game for the Wii for $25. I had it in my cart but decided to pass and save our money for Super Smash as we have enough mini and sports games and they really haven't played the Mario and Sonic Olympic one much.

I just saw online that GameStop is taking pre-orders for NCAA football 09 for the Wii, release date 7/15/08!

I don't think this will end our family discussion of buying another system but at least it'll prolong it longer so we can save up for it. And then in a few months we'll know how the newer 360 is fairing with the overheating issues.

Fantastic....I always figured it was only a matter of time, and with the sales numbers the wii has been doing I figured they would take a shot.

The Dw answered both above, but to add...Mario Kart was only first revelaled at last years E3(July)...they stated then it would be a spring release. Howevere this was before Smash Brothers got bumped from Winter to spring, so my best estimate(and latest rumblings) say Mario Kart will not make it to use until Fall/Christmas sadly. With Wii fit being the big late spring/summer hit.

Nintendo spaces out their heavy hitters to give us enought time to play them and enjoy before moving on (and to maxamize sales..lol)

TOT but Horned King do you know how many episodes they got taped of LOST before the writers strike? It's been a long time since the last episode and DH and I are anxiously awaiting 1/31.

Yep, there's 8. The season is planned for 16, so we've got half. (Probably just enough to get them off the island. )

I really hope the stupid companies will give in to the writers soon.

ok i have great news!! I GOT GUITAR HERO 3 TODAY!!!!

I have been keeping tabs on best buy.com for in store availability and one of the stores (no where close to home ) but on the way home from work had it so i took the alternate route and stopped and they had a few on display. I am sooo pumped!! i played 2 songs tonight to get started, the only bad thing is that after playing at my friends house and getting thru the easy level, i have to do it all over again at my house...lol...it should be fun!!

so poor super mario will probably take a back seat for a few days (especially since i am in the swimming galaxy thing and its kinda hard to swim..lol)

My DS is having a problem moving sims in. He was going to move someone in and decided to change to a different one and now it won't let him move anyone in. Has anyone had this problem? How do you fix it?

I asked my boys about this and they said no you can't do this, but I'm not sure I asked or explained it correctly. I was going to check this thread for exactly what you were asking but ran out of time with dinner and soccer and then I had to watch OSU play. I'll try and ask them again this evening. Or you can try searching ign or the web.

OT-8 episodes of LOST will hold me for a while but hopefully the strike will end soon.

Yeah! If the swimming is too heard for you, you can always skip it. You don't have to get every single star.

Have you played co-op with your friend yet? It's really really fun--like a whole new game.

In SMG, I despise the swimming ones! I'm also not a fan of those sticky things that you use to launch Mario!

On a side note - my sympathies go out to all you Buckeyes fans. That was not a good night for you at all. Hopefully, they will have a good run at it again next year!

Thanks. It was pretty tough, but I was happy to be ranked at all this year, let alone make it to the big game. Our team was supposed to be pretty bad! Of course now we have to listen to the SEC fans.

as far as co-op no ihavent yest , i just got it yesterday and was visiting with my aunt so i probably wont get to play co-op til after she leaves since im trying to spend time with her while she is here....im dying to play co-op tho!!!

Every once in a while, you'll have to skip a level to keep your sanity...some are REALLY hard.

We should trade friend codes so we could play GH with each other.
