You don't do this in races though do you? I'm lucky if I can count to 3 in the last miles of a race. No way I can do any significant math.![]()
as a Spinning Coach, I kind of do it out of habit. You do not want an instructor spinning at 72 rpm when they are encouraging you to be at 90 (the same as a 180 turnover).
I would never count a minute. Rather its a count of 15 foot falls on one leg in 10 sec or 21/22 footfalls in 15 seconds.
You would find me on the side of the road spazzing out if I were to count the entire minute

tomorrow morning is supposed to be 50 degrees! Yea!
