I thought it would have been full by the end of the DL 1/2. Wonder how many people that 4% is.

I do have a question tho, my long training runs always seems to go better than race day for me. At race time I feel like I just want to be done and couldn't wait for the finish. After Sunday, I'm now seriously second guessing my thoughts on the full. I really want to run the full for my 40th. Thoughts?
It is my understanding that Marathon weekend is the only runDisney event without discounts.

I don't know if anyone said this already but I just got back from the Disneyland 1/2 and saw the marathon medal at the expo... It's even better in person. There was a line of people just waiting to touch it. And boy was it hefty. It was gorgeous and I was tempted to just rip it off the display and run like Donald did but we all know how that ended.
Just finished Disneyland and wanted to say that I saw the WDW 20th Anniv. medal and it is more spectacular in person than in the pictures. Really an eye catcher. Goofy training started today.

I wouldn't worry about the next one. You will be fine. A couple of things to make sure of. 1) that your taper is accurate--not too soon, but also soon enough to let you rest up for your race. 2) make sure you are resting the day before the race. I am a couch potato and really try to stay off my feet as much as possible. 3) make sure you are going out slowly for the first few miles. This lets your body warm up and will likely make the end of the race more pleasant.
Also, WDW marathon has a lot more to see at the end than DL does. Takes you mind off things a bit.
The NEW course really have most to see than the old Disney full.
I ran the WDW full in 2003 when the course went down Osceola then right on Victory for a nasty out and back right at mile 20. Hated it. I wasn't too keen on going back that way again until I saw the improvements they have made and the likely party going on there.
Thankfully. I really hate out and backs and having a mile and a half (ish) watching other runners meet you was the pits.
It's been better since the race pushed into Asia in the Animal Kingdom. The old 'let's run really close to the WWoS but not let them see it" course died in 04 or 05. Thankfully. I really hate out and backs and having a mile and a half (ish) watching other runners meet you was the pits. Thankfully, the Osceola segment was on both sides of the median with that course (as well as the 13 course) so that section did not feel so much like and out and back.
The most recent revision was more manageable for me, but still seemed to zap me of energy.
I think it will be interesting with the 2013 loop at WWoS. We will face much faster folks on the way out and hopefully still be facing runners on the way back in. Not to panic folks, but I am checking the math out to see how what paced runner will see empty road on the way back out. It will most likely be the 6 hour range runner, but I am not sure.
ADDED - OOPS
Folks running about a 5:15 marathon will see the lantern rouge runner cross World Drive as they turn North on World Drive. That means a 6 hour runner will see empty track on the other side of Osceola as they run back in.
Interesting.

That 6 runner will most likely be me.

Anyone using a garmin 610 and having issues with gps accuracies? I ran the Cars Land 5K and my watch gave the distance as 2.9 miles and the half marathon measured 13.6 miles. I'm so bummed that it was so far off. I have done all but the last update. I bought it at REI so I can return or exchange it but don't know if I should try another model and stick with the 610. Any advice?
You will probably be fine. They start the clock when the very last racer starts the race and measure the 16 min perce for that end of the pack. So if any worries just start way further ahead nearer the front of the walkers. It's so much fun you will do great and have a blast!
