Official WDW Marathon Weekend 2013 Thread-Part 2

Sean Astin 40008

Drew Carey 15365

Hey, I'm ahead of him! :rotfl2:

ETA: He/his people must not have submitted a time. According to Wikipedia he finished MCM last year in 4:37:11. So hey, looks like I'll be getting passed by a celebrity!

I met him at the DL half this year. He was very nice. I would pay money to get a picture of our x0008 bibs together

23133 for Goofy with a submitted time of 4-4:10.
My wife is 54200 for the half with a submitted time of 3:15.

bib number 23186 for goofy. my proof of time race was 2:00 half, not sure what I estimated.

Hubby & I both submitted a 2:37 half time. His bib is 22346 & mine is 25285. Both Goofy. Likely different corrals from the guesses on corral placement I've been reading. Who knows.

Too weird, I would not be surprised if they entered either yours or his numbers incorrectly in the system. As for corrals, he could always move back so you can start together.

AFM: 977 for 5K, 20747 for Goofy with a 1:49 half proof of time

I think she means she updated her list in the first post of this thread :-)

Oh. Sorry. It's early, LOL.

Bib # 56944 for the half. I entered a 2:15 estimated finish, but did not submit a proof of time. Not sure where this will place me, but good chance I will be weaving through some slower runners/walkers?

LAst corral or possibly one ahead. Can you find a Christmas 10k? If you can, then bring proof for a new placement.

Observations....

  • The races capacities were smaller in 2013 than previous years, or so the bib numbers observed seem to indicate tthis to be the case.
  • There seems to be some confusion in the Goofy numbering. Stay tuned and revisit your waivers once the runDisney site link opens.
  • There are 95 Perfect 19 looking to join the Perfect 20 club&. 8 of these runners are also Perfectly Goofy
  • The Perfect 19 runners can be ID'd by their special bib. The bib also carries their race number from the 1994 marathon.
  • A decent guess for corral placement would be 2500 runners per corral in the full and 3000-3500 runners per corral in the half. This is not exact, but close. So bib 8000 would be corral D following this high level assignment method. Agin this is a guess based on past races.. your corral could vary up or down.
  • Goofy bibs are harder to assign since they are overlayed onto the corrals. The large split between runners with simialr times could still have both in the same corral, or not

Hopefully, Disney will open their link to the trackshack URL today and post the corral assignment map. Keep posting numbers and lets see where everyone is
