So many individual threads, I thought I would combine them :)

We will be there, but arriving late (still working out the transportation logistics, nit sure the "best way").

Here is the info we know so far:

Announcement:

Hopper Fan posted this fantastic info from last year's party :

So, let's chat about times, transportation, costumes...etc.

So excited!!

We are not planning to head to MK until about 7:00pm and then staying as long as we can. I know that is going to be a crazy time, but it is just what works best for us.

My thoughts right now are to take a taxi to Contemporary and walk from there. That would avoid the bus lines and the potential craziness of driving our own car to the TTC, but I am just not sure.

Bringing my wife for a surprise trip. Her bday is May 12 and our first anniversary is May 31. Right between!

Plan to go rope drop. Mickey FP at 10am. CP breakfast then back to the hotel around 12. Plan to relax and come back at 9pm. Then have FP For space and BTMRR at night. Staying til 6.

Would love to do all 24 hrs but it sounds like it'll be crazy. We don't mind crazy, but were getting to the parks on May 17 and will probably be fine with going and coming.

So excited though!

I'm planning now and my wife will have from May 12-17 to plan and pack.

Sounds great!!

Lots of talk about crowds - I think there is noting to compare this to.

The Monstrous Party did not have as much warning for planning and was busy, but there was no dressing up. (I did not attend, just research).

The Friday the 13th Villain was a ZOO from what I read on the blogs, but DHS is not as equipped for huge crowds in small areas like MK is.

I think we should prepare for July the 4th!! LOL!!

I'm going! 24 hours is my goal. My friend and I are dressing as mickey and Donald.

My strategy: go on the slower loading and more popular rides in the morning.

We have our FP+ for rides that are awesome in the dark for later that night. Jc, btmr and mickey in case he has his pajamas.

We also have a later dinner ADR so we can have a break from the crowds.

I expect 6-1 to be the busiest times, so we'll do things like cop and hop during this time.

Getting up super early to drive over, and be there by the start of the event. Head back to hotel for a nap in the late morning/early afternoon to check in at hotel early *crossing fingers.* Head over to Epcot for some food and drink, then back to hotel for some pool fun. Back to MK after 1:00am. Trying to avoid large crowds as DH gets bad anxiety. We are definitely late night people anyway.

Joining the fun! We had the trip planned before the 24 hour day was announced but it's great we'll be there to experience it. May 23rd is our DD's 7th birthday so this is a surprise trip for her. We'll spill the beans after I pick her up from school on 5/22. Our plan is to arrive early for rope drop on 5/23 and head out of MK about 3pm. Our kids are very young and if we get them up at 4am, they will be exhausted by mid afternoon so we won't ruin a good thing ;) We're going to nap and then we are going to Beaches and Cream for the Kitchen Sink! I hope this qualifies as a birthday cake for DD ;) So excited!!

I'll be there! We have 8 total in our group and are staying at FW. We don't expect everyone to be together at all times.

My plan is to try to be outside the gates around 5ish and stay until as late as I can but definitely heading back before 6. Take a nap and change into pj's then back to the party after watching the fireworks from the beach. The goal is to be there at 6am.

Last year I only made it until 3:30 but didn't plan a nap break. This time I will be prepared.

What costumes is everyone wearing? I can't decide who to dress like.

We are doing a half-day at school/work to head down and check-in at the resort in the early afternoon on Friday. We will swim/nap/eat, and then we'll go over to MK around 7/8pm for an all-nighter! :goodvibes

ETA: We aren't dressing-up in costumes, but we are all going to wear t-shirts with our favorite Disney characters on them. :)

This is close to our plan. Well walk over from BLT about 5:15am for park opening. We have an ADR for CP at 8:10. Well hang out for a couple of hours then go back to BLT for a nap. The plan is to be back in the park before 4. Dinner at BoG at 6:20 then party till 6am!

I just have to work in a time to see FoF....

Will they do anything special for rope drop? Our plan was HS in the morning for Star Wars weekends, a nap in the afternoon, and then on to Magic Kingdom around 6ish. Should we do.rope drop?

We leave on Sat the 24th for the cruise so, Friday was going to be a our down afternoon (packing and such) so that we can be at MCO by around 7 on Saturday and hopefully get first bus to port. This way we plan to be at RD and then I think have lunch at Tony's hit the noon parade and then come back to the hotel, pack relax and get to bed early. Booked some FP's for late morning.

We'll be rope dropping and then living around 4-5pm when everyone is pooped. Crashing for a nice loooooooooong almost sleep nap and waking everyone back up at 2am to be back to the parks by 3 to close it out until 6am. Then I get to drive 10 hours home while the kids sleep in the backseat ;)

Sorry, no idea about the bussing, but have you noticed there hasn't been much traffic on these 24 hour event threads... maybe we'll have the parks all to ourselves! Hahahaha!

We're going with a Marvel theme - DH will be SpiderMan, DS14 Captain America, DS11 will be the Hulk, and I am Wonder Woman. Which reminds me... gotta order the facepaints!

I have noticed that!! Here's to hoping!!

I'm guessing they'll have buses running specially for the 24 hour event.

DH still hasn't picked an outfit yet....I'm going as Marie from Aristocats.

We'll be there! When I found out it lands on my birthday, I HAD to go.. lol. I'm surprising my 7 year old son when they bring me to the airport. He's been wanting to stay up all night and what better way than at MK? We're planning on sharing a cab to MK before rope drop and staying the whole time... will be leaving around 9pm for my bday dinner at Ohana.

I made shirts for us... I'll have a Maleficent shirt on with "Well, Well... Today Is My Birthday!" and I'm making myself horns to wear. DS will have a Hades shirt on (it glows in the dark) and I'm going to spray his hair blue.

I hope the morning will be fairly dead so we can get a lot of rides out of the way... I'd like to try to ride everything in MK. I know of quite a few people that are going to be there... sounds like there will be a lot of meet-ups going on.
