Official Toby Keith Discussion Thread

The concert was great, although I could definitely see why he called it Shockin' Y'all (some of the subjects he brought up were pretty adult in nature-something involving three people was brought up during "I'm Just Talkin' 'Bout Tonight" and a couple of other words he used surprised me a little.) It was the only concert that I've ever been to where I didn't have a "That's it???" mixed in with my feelings of having really enjoyed the concert. I felt like I really got my money. Blake Shelton and Scottie Emrick (spelling?) were really awesome, too and Elliott Sadler (a NASCAR driver) came out at one point with Blake Shelton because Blake was apologizing for being late and making the show start late....he was deer hunting in Emporia with Elliott. I didn't buy any CD's, but I did buy a shirt that says "I've Got The Honey" on the front and then says "Toby Keith Who's Your Daddy?" on the back. It's funny....at one point after the Kenny Chesney concert, I got over my small crush on Toby and thought of him as an old man. I definitely don't feel that way after seeing him tonight :lovestruc
Oh, btw, the song I actually got chills during was "American Soldier."

I don't remember him doing American Soldier, but ALL his music was new to me at the time. I had bought my first CD on a Thursday, then went online and found he was going to be here 3 days later!! Snagged those tickets! LOL! Now I've got them all memorized. I'm sure he must have done it though. Think I'll be giving that CD to my military friend for Christmas. ;) :Pinkbounc :smooth: :faint: Glad you had such a great time, Becki. Where did you get that picture in your siggie? I WANT IT!!!

By the way, I was one of the very few people in the upper section of the Coliseum that stood for Toby's entire part of the concert and the only one who stood for part of Blake's part and I was in the very front row of the upper section by myself in this little cubbyhole-type seat (basically if I drew the front row, there would be about 6 seats, then a break, then seven seats, then a break, then just my little seat), so I think I may even have been seen from stage.

Woo hoo! You lucky girl!! Sounds like a great seat! Do you mind if I put that picture in my siggy? I just love it, especially with that guitar!! :)

Oh yeah, forgot to say how close I was to the stage....I could have been front row in the upper level all the way across the Coliseum from the stage but instead I was in the upper level in the second section from the left side of the stage (left if you were on stage looking out at the crowd, that is.)

We seen TK in September in Akron (Blossom) and he was great. We were in the 2nd row from the stage. Blake Shelton and Scotty Emerick were also very good.

FYI............Toby Keith will be the halftime entertainment

on Thanksgiving, during the Dallas Cowboys game.

OK....Now, I know I'll be watching the football game on Thanksgiving :)

LOL! You and me both!! :faint: :faint: :faint:

I think I must like older men....Toby's 42, John Elway is 43, and Roger is 39. I also tend to have a thing for men with beards (although Elway doesn't have one.) :lovestruc:

I used to like older men. Now I like them my age and younger! LOL! It creeps up on you when you least expect it!! :earseek:
