Congratulations on running your first 1/2! That's a huge accomplishment in itself, I think you'll be just fine for the PDC. Think of the 10K like your warm up, lol. Just keep on training for it and you'll surprise yourself. Which 1/2 did you run this weekend?

It's usually 2 weeks before the regular reg opens. They haven't announced yet when it's opening but I think it was the beginning of Feb this year.

I'm back for Tinkerbell Half weekend for my 3rd year! Running only the half this year as we are bringing my son's 14 year old friend and it's his first visit...saving my energy for more park time!

As for POT, thankfully despite some knee problems, my time from the Disneyland Half wasn't all that far off from my normal pace so I'll probably be using that seeing as most of my other recent races I stopped for a lot of photos. Don't want to use those! Nope, nope, nope.

They might not be doing it this time b/c they usually do it at Big Thunder Ranch and that's closed for Star Wars land. So maybe they're trying to figure out where to do it and if it's worth it?

Ah! That would make some sense at least! I've only done PHM 5k, so WDW...and didn't think I would need the carbo-load...but I can justify with 10K...and no family members along to also pay for

I was looking at the results for the Disney Half and had a question. What is the difference in clock time and net time?

The clock time is the total time from the start of the very 1st person until you personally cross the finish line. The net time is your actual race time from the time you cross the start until you cross the finish line. The time difference is how long you waited for your corral and you to start.

I will be running the half marathon ( and will also get the coast to coast medal as I will be running the Star Wars half marathon in WDW in mid April.

Unfortunately, I think the only way to get bibs without the tickets as well, and someone please correct me if I'm wrong, is to go through a charity. But I also believe that if you do go through TA's, the tickets ARE transferrable if that helps at all. Are you both AP holders or were you just not planning to go into the parks?

Thanks for the info. We plan on having our APs by then (hoping for a Dec/Jan trip to start the annual passes). I guess I'll just have to keep my eyes out for people wanting to sell when it gets closer to the event.
