I missed Jeff's announcement on where the next Survivor will be...Someone help me. Where are they going?

Survivor 13 will be filmed in the Cook Islands, may feature past cast members

The 13th season of Survivor will be filmed in the Cook Islands, a group of islands somewhat nearby previous locations the Marquesas and Vanuatu. It’s the exact same location, perhaps even down to the tribal camps, that has been used for the UK edition and other international versions of the show.

Survivor Maps, which has several pictures of the stunning lagoon and its surrounding islands, reports that “the Survivor production crew [arrived] April 20th and [will be] filming from late June through early August in Aitutaki’s quintessential blue lagoon.” The site also notes that the islands have plenty of history; Captain Bligh visited “just days before the mutiny, although he never laid foot on the atoll.” In addition, “the motu Rapota once held a leper colony,” according to Survivor Maps. And that small island will probably be the location of a tribe’s camp.

And speaking of lepers, in addition to hearing confirmation that the show will be filmed in the Cook Islands, reality blurred has heard unconfirmed reports that either in the 13th or 14th season, past cast members will return in some capacity, not necessarily as competitors. Neither season, however, will be another full-fledged all-star season.

Cook Island sounds good Like the idea of past players coming back again! I would love another All Stars show however there is no way Terry would have a chance He would walk in with a big Target on his back form the start Way to strong!!!

Also, in the past it has gone on for hours. This one lasted a little over 30 minutes.

Which actually favors the men. Women generally have substantially greater endurance in balance-related challenges.

Ive never really liked Shane. However I do have to say I agree with what he said "Disappointed in the final 2. It should have been Terry"

When she won immunity I told DH that now she has to decide who to give the million to.

That is basically what I was thinking. Now she needs to decide who to hand the million too. Because not a chance in heck was she EVER going to win it.

He is actually pretty funny. I saw him after he was booted off on the Early show and on Survivor Live online and he was much more together than he was on the show.

As soon as Cirie was off it didn't matter to me who won! I loved her in the reunion show and hope she shows up on All Stars some day. I don't think Survivor will lose too many viewers - the show is different each season.

He made some very very nice comments about Cirie...I think he was real impressed with her as were alot of others on the show and watching....She will be on an all-star show, well she will be begged to be on by Survivor....She is right there in popularity with Rupert and Steph....I love you Steph....I miss you too....please come back....oh sorry....My mind wanders sometimes...

I thought it was funny that Jeff did not mention that when Terry won the car. That was the first thing I thought of when he won it.

I agree. I distinctly remember hearing Jeff say something about it at the time Terry won it.

But then it seems I'm swimming upstream when I talk about things that have happened on the show. I got into an argument on another Survivor thread when someone claimed Terry was being selfish for not offering Danielle his hidden immunity idol, no matter how many times I pointed out that Terry had indeed offered Danielle the hidden idol several episodes ago and she refused.

I don't consider the car thing much of a curse. It's only a reward challenge that has been won, not immunity. People tend to play differently for reward challenges versus immunity challenges, I've noticed.

Does anyone else think the rule at 3 people is sooooo unfair???????? It seems that every time the person who comes in #3 is the one that deserves to win. That is because they are voted out by the person who is choosing to go up against someone they think they can beat. They should take the top 3 to the jury and let the votes go from there. The producers seemed to rig that challenge and that really seems so unfair. Like my dad says, "Life is not fair......". Oh, well, Terry just really deserved to win last night.

Maybe they should do away with the jury for a season. Let the final 2 do a mega competition for the prize. (Kind of like what Big Brother does with the final HOH comp.)

They players would not have to "worry" about feelings when voting players out. Might make for a more, shall we say, nasty, game. Bet it would be interesting!!!

Terry dominated like no other

Not exactly...Terry didn't dominate like Colby. Colby followed through and won even the last challenge and chose his own fate. Terry lost when he needed the most important win. Too much food in his belly from the night before.

There was no way any man weighing over 125 pounds would have won that challenge against Danielle. Merit had nothing to do with it - it's all about physics.

I totally agree, that last challenge was designed for a women. We have a better center of gravity. It's just plain physics.

I thought the challenge was really rigged to favor Danielle, just as I thought last season's was rigged to favor a taller person, like Danni over Steph. I don't know if they do it on purpose, but it's frustrating to watch. And I've never thought about a #3 curse, but I could see some merit to it and I've been mourning for years over Kathy being on the jury while Neleah and Vecepia were the final 2.

As soon as I saw the challenge, I told my son, "Danielle is winning this one." and I went on to explain why the men would have a much harder time due to height and weight.
