As a member of Clan Donald, I really like these!!!

A question for the New Brunswickians before I make a magnet or t-shirt: is this use of the flag offensive or in poor taste?

Onkel Hans,

I don't know of a single New Brunswicker who would be offended by that ... nothing wrong with that at all ... I think it is great!

Ted

We are doing a BTB with the July 28 sailing to Nassau with our family and then my husband and I will continue on with the August 5 (also my birthday) Canadian tour. Are there anyone else doing this? We are two young senior citizens and that will be our 8th Disney cruise. I hope someone will set up a fishextender gift exchange for the cruise.

Here is the link for your cruise meet: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=40752725

I am waiting patiently (oops Sanata is watching better tell the truth!!) I am chomping at the bit to find out what the port adventures are. As soon as I find out, I will start getting the rundown on them.

Thanks jkpmac, Tim in Halifax, ZerotoHero, and HermanTriplets+1! NB has an awesome flag and I thought it would look cool to swap out the ship, but I was afraid that it might be disrespectful--the U.S. flag code forbids doing that kind of thing to the U.S. flag (though nobody pays attention to that).

If anyone wants either image for their cruise, let me know.:goodvibes

We are a little bit more relaxed here with regards to the flag. We reularly ridicule our politicians and Politics weekly on two comedy shows, This hour has 30 minutes and the Mercer report. As well as CBC radio, the local Tim Horton's the water cooler, the break room, on the street etc. So nope we won't be offended.

I would love the image with Pooh with the dates June 17-22, 2012.

Thanks in advance.

Wonder if there's a respectful way to Disney-fy the Nova Scotia flag, too?

So far, the flags and the lighthouses capture me the most:thumbsup2!

Please ... would be interested see a Disneyfied ... Nova Scotia theme ... might use that for our trip in March to Nassau! Please do! Lots of images out there ... just google Nova Scotia flag or Scottish lion ... remember Nova Scotia is latin for New Scotland

I am no graphic artist myself, and wouldn't know where to begin, however here is a link for Cruise Door Magnets. I suggest you all post there with your requests. There are some very talented people out there, and they do these deaigns from the goodness of there hearts. Often they post templates that you can individualize, thats what I did. It may take a while to go through them all, but you will likely find what you are looking for or someone can make it. There are hundreds!

Oh yes, just so you know, I developed them at the local photomart on 8 x10 paper, then applied magnetic strips to the back. Don't tape them to your door, the Captain will make you walk the plank if you do!!!

That is definitely a Pro-tip! We will go that route next time.

We used magnetic paper for ours, and it came curled up and never wanted to uncurl. Since it wasn't very powerfully magnetic, the magnets often didn't want to stay up without a fight.

We resorted to printing them on card stock paper and laminating them, then adding small round magnents.

Dont forget to put your name on them. Sometimes they grow legs and take a tour on the ship:lmao:

:rolleyes1
