Official Thread for Universal's Halloween Horror Nights 21 (Updated 10/26, post #251)

I just want clarification of the ticket situation.

We are planning on getting 2 parks, 2 day tickets. We want to go on a Thursday and NOT do HHN but come back to the parks for our second day on Sunday and stay for HHN.
Do I buy Stay and Scream tickets BEFORE I use the first day and can I use the Stay and Scream ticket for either of the two days I will be at the parks?

they changed some things this year for hhn tickets.

you can buy the add on/S & S ticket and use it any night.
it does not have to be date related.

but, it has to be on the day of the week related to the price.

you buy the cheaper S & S which is valid for thursdays and sundays.
you can use that hhn ticket only on any thur or sunday.

Save up to $45 when you add Halloween Horror Nights to your regular daytime park ticket! (Does not have to be used on the same day)

Access to any one (1) Sun-Thurs Event Night -SAVE $451 $36.99 +tax

Thanks so much for that info!

Sorry, it appears that I am wrong. :sad1:

this is something that wasn't there before this hhn season.

you were right for the past season.

i only found this due to looking to answer a question earlier.

I just called Universal to verify we could get the S&S HHN tickets to use with our Orlando Flex Tickets. No problem, per the guy on the phone. :)

I was worried because I saw this on the Universal site:

Time to call Universal back and order our HHN tickets!

Well I tried to call the ticket line number to buy my S & S tickets (because I have the 3 day Costco tickets). The lady told me that I would either need an online confirmation number for the tickets I purchased (which of course I don't have because my sister got them at Costco) or...

she wanted the credit card # the tickets were purchased on which of course I didn't have because it was my sister's credit card so...

I called my sis, got the CC # and then called back and the ticket agent said no, I can't buy the HHN if I already have the tickets and that the previous lady gave me the wrong info. :sad1:

So I hung up and called again... unfortunately I got the same info. So I guess we just need to purchase them at the park. I'm going Thurs 10/27 so I'm hoping they won't be sold out.

You can purchase HHN tickets for the S & S upgrade price IF you have already purchased the theme park tickets. BUT...you need to have the ticket #'s or some sort of proof to give Guest Services so they can verify you are eligible for the upgrade price. You shouldn't have to wait until you arrive but it's probably just as well. Make sure you purchase the tickets as soon as you get to the park because the lines at Guest Services can get very long.

Ugh - that stupid game. I get kicked out every time!

I know!!! I keep losing my coins on the matching/machine game and keep losing cause I run out of water! The TV game is the easiest, IMO, but every now and again I'll hit the 3 busted TVs and loose there too. :rotfl:

I did well with the exploding boxing game...
I was so close with the matching one... nearly had it :sad1:

No, Hollywood is going to have Alice Cooper's Welcome To My Nightmare Maze though.

Not an entertainer, per se, but there will be a new "high energy" dance show in Beetlejuice this year. No idea what that means exactly.

I went later in Oct last year, but this year I'll bet at PBH from Oct 3-7 going to HHN on the 6th. What impact will the Ghost Hunters have, or is it just an autograph thing? I don't want them getting in my way!

They usually just do a photo op and an interview. They don't really impact the event.

they will probably be set in in central park area again this year.

but, that is just my guess
