I don't think she is that eloquent. She seems to say big impressive words, but she isn't really saying anything at all. "I look at him and see my soul shining back at me"....."He gets me"....it sounds nice, but wth does it really mean? Those are fancy thoughts that don't really mean anything.

That reminds me of Jerry from the Bachelorette season with Jen. She kept saying that...he talked and talked when she asked him questions, but what did he actually say? Did he actually answer the questions?

I had a thought yesterday. I wondered if Travis didn't truly hit it off with anyone to the point of thinking he found his true love, but likes Sarah a lot and the fact that she DOES live in Nashville was a selling point. This way, no one was going to pick up and leave her life and move to Nashville to be with him, when he was still so unsure about everyone. Just a thought.

Sarah is just too goody goody for me. I mean, she sang that stupid Kindergarden song twice on the show now...Elbows out, thumb up, etc. A guy wants sex, I don't think he's all that impressed with her Kindergarden talents. I think he needs someone with more spice than sugar, but that's my opinion. Anytime a bachelor doesn't give a ring, it usually means he's saving face for the sake of the show. I think he can do a lot better. Sarah is boring.

I think Sara and Travis have the best chance of making it - neither one had to sacrifice everything to move to the other's home town, they don't have to endure the trouble of a long distance romance and all the trouble that it brings, they can each continue their previous life - while including a budding new romance into it. Sounds like real life to me - so maybe they may have the best chance of survival. Just a thought.

I agree with this!! Reports are that he actually worked yesterday - no one can seem to confirm if they are together -there have been no Sarah sightings - I wish ABC would do an update!

Mary and Byron was my favorite season ever!!

Travis was on the Ellen Degeneres show either last week or the week before (before the final Bachelor episode anyway) & Ellen asked him about how it ended. He said that altho he couldn't say the "ending", he said that he was 'very happy with his choice.' I was happy with his choice too! Go Sarah!

Moana sounded uneducated to me. What the heck is a Distribution Manager anyway? Does that mean she has a paper route? She said phrases that sounded like out of a Harlequin book "I look at him & see my soul shining back?" WTH? All those tears too? My goodness....what a Drama Queen! Sarah is a nice grounded person & I hope they make it.

I personally have NOT spoken or seen Sarah since the finale( I spoke to her around the WTA show) but I do know someone who has. I was and am very confused myself by all the rumors and articles pointing to an obvious break up. I read Navy moms clues just like most of the board trying to decipher who won EVEN tho I was in her presence off & on throughout the airing. She truly never told anyone she won even after returning home that first week. Her mood was even and as I have said "upbeat" If there was a break up during those following weeks then I would be shocked myself. After she arrived home from Paris she was the same in mood as she was 2 weeks ago. If her heart was broken it would be very telling in one way or the other in my opinion. I have seen him state as little as two weeks ago that he was happy with the one he chose and it was time to get back to work. This was a video on Utube that anyone could watch. So if something happened with them in the past two weeks then I am not privvy to that. Watching her in the finale made me think she was truly in love yet his reaction was more controlled as I would expect by the cautious way he approached the show all along. She is very straightforward and her approach was expected or at least by those who know her. She has never been shy about stating her stance in discussions. It did not shock me that the L word was not used by him. Sarah tells her friends she loves them so I believe her saying she loved Travis was Sarah being Sarah. Afterall she is a loving person. A hugger and a giver. The fact she is involved with charities is nothing new. She has always been involved and I am sure months before made commitments to be at these functions. I have not pestered her but I did pester a close friend of hers last night about Sarah mostly to ask if she is in town like I am reading and if she is going to tell us something after the 4th. I also asked if the Oscar show coming up had anything to do with a follow up show not happening. (She said she had no clue but maybe it had a bearing with no follow up show right now..just our speculation)Here is what she was ok with me telling> Sarah is being dogged heavily by media and strangers where ever she goes. She is trying to get back to normal but ABC has told her it might take 3 months before that happens. They have told her to expect rumors and backlash which is obvious. Travis is working and wants to finish his residency program and is working many hours more to be able to finish with his class in July. I asked ARE THEY TOGETHER??? Her response was Sarah said she is happy and Travis is happy and everyone will know by the end of this month for sure what is going on in both of their lives. I said not after the 4th???? She said "well.. that is up to Sarah, she is worn out from the attention as is Travis. They have tied up her phone, parent's phone, her pastor's phone and just about everyone connected to her. She appreciates her friends support and the fan base as does Travis but the media is always going to put its spin on things whether it is true or not. Bottom line is she is happy , Travis is happy. THAT is all I KNOW for now. Our mutual friend was obviously in the know about much more but said there really is a gag order and she needs to be respectful of their wishes but that we will not feel bad about the outcome. So navy mom I know no more really after that phone call then I did weeks ago when I said she is happy! BTW our friend is still pregnant with twins!! I thought she would have had them by now and then I would see Sarah up close and talk with her but she has not had them yet!

My take on it all is that I wonder myself if things cooled down however I am sure they have been warned they will get mobbed the first time they are out and about. Sarah has male friends and has in the past dined with them. I would not put too much into the rumors about a new boyfriend. She has both female and male friends that she hangs out with . Male friends...straight as well as gay so I doubt she will stop being their friend just because Travis is in her life! I am sure he has female friends too.

It's official per People magazine:

The rules drove them apart: That's the official word from The Bachelor: Paris couple Dr. Travis Stork and Sarah Stone, who say they have broken up.

In a joint interview with the Nashville Tennessean on Monday, Stork and Stone said that the rules of the ABC reality show, which forced Stork to keep his selection a secret following the show's taping in November, ultimately led to their undoing, the Associated Press reports.

"You're in Paris and you're part of this incredible experience, this fantasy world, and then suddenly you come back to Nashville," said Stork. Instead of pursuing the romance, "You're forced to pretend you don't know someone."

Although rumors had surfaced following the finale that linked the two, Stork said revealing the outcome would have been a "huge breach of contract." Instead, he added, the couple, who are both Nashville natives, went to great lengths to avoid one another. It wasn't until the Feb. 27 finale that viewers knew Stork selected Stone out of 25 women on the show.

"I remember one day Sarah was running down the street, and I walked out my front door on my bike and I instantly saw this person darting across the street, through traffic. I'm like, 'That’s Sarah. Do I look, do I not? What do I do?'" Stork recalled. He ended up riding his bike in the opposite direction. "It's strange to have to live that way."

Stone said that if the two had met under other circumstances their relationship might have played out differently. "We wouldn't have had all the baggage that comes from being on this show," she said. "It would just be the two of us being able to hang out and get to know each other in a normal situation."

Both say that they remain single and have fond memories of their experience in Paris. "We both agree and know that we’ll be friends forever," Stone said.

Posted this on another thread, but thought I'd add my 2 cents here too:

I don't completely buy it. I understand that it would be difficult to pretend, but in the same respect if the relationship was there to begin with wouldn't it be worth the wait? If it meant anything wouldn't they be more open to working on it now that his pick was revealed? It may have been a difficult couple of months, but now they can date as if it were a 'real' date, not instigated by a TV show.

This is why I didn't want to watch in the first place. I am so done with this show. I'm sure ABC is too. Like I said on the other thread no wonder there was no After the Rose special. What a waste of time and money.

I totally agree with you. I really did not see a strong connection with him and Sarah during the entire show. I did see a connection with him and Moana, but I think that the meeting with the parents put a strain on that relationship.
