So, what was she like then? Genuine? snooty? nice? I am soooooooooo curious! LOL

lol I only had a few classes with her that I can remember (our graduating class was like 400 some). She was more on the popular side, but not someone you would label as the most popular or anything. I wouldn't say she was fake, but I also wouldn't say she was genuine either somewhere between those two (kind of like depending on who else was there would determine where one would fall on the scale). I sat by her in at least once class (good old alphabetical order!!) I can remember and she was pleasant and nice to me. I remember she was fairly smart as well.

jbdreamer might remember more than me so I will have her come post if she remembers anything.

A tense foursome makes another round on the greens of Travis Stork. This was the infamous “hometown date” which separates the loonies from the truly insane.

First to tee off. Moana I-used-to-be-tough-but-those-sorority-girls-made- me-cry-like-a-little-girl is up first. They meet on the beach in San Clemente, CA. First of all, what is up with denim skirts cut so short that the pockets hang out the bottom? Does she WANT him to see the contents of her pockets (bonnie belle lip gloss, condoms and bottle of wellbutrin)? Anyhoo, she uses the opportunity to show off her “surfing” skills which involves paddling to a good place to make out. If you thought that Moana was a little “off” you haven’t seen her Dad. She prefaces the meeting with declaring that her Dad is a “great judge of character.” Apparently, that means treating everyone like a complete *******. Dad scoffs while Travis tries to explain “what he is about” and the stepmom goes so far as to call the premise of the show “disgusting.” (Yo, ************, that’s MY job.) If this is where she learned her social skills, it’s no wonder she’s not getting along so well with the other girls in the house.

Next up… Canadian. Travis has felt distance from his “first impression” rose pick lately, but hoping that he can get a little leg in Winnepeg. Unfortunately, she has a few beers and completely shows her *** by telling him that if she were him she wouldn’t pick Moana because the whole house like totally hates her. He asks how she would feel if he listened to what the girls said and didn’t pick her because she has flyaway hair with roots and makes mewing noises. Ouch. They have dinner with her mother and two brothers and its obvious the family is close. Maybe it’s because SHE STILL LIVES AT HOME. During dinner her phone rings (OMG, she is so lucky she has her own line!) and she is squirming to get up and answer it.

Next… we’re BOTH from Nashville. The other Sarah finally gets to capitalize on the Nashville connection during the hometown date. They take a walk to a park, where just out of the blue students from her kindergarten glass and her two sisters - one dressed in a green velvet suit - show up. Sarah impresses with her ability to hokey pokey. Sexy. Her family is so normal. Her dad is scarily devoid of emotion and personality but, hey, beats the browbeating he took from the Moana clan. Finally, Sarah and Travis kiss. A nice normal, right amount of tongue kiss.

Finally, he has his date with Susan. He’s pretty much decided that she’s getting another rose before the date starts, because, well, she’s so damn hot. Paging Dr. Stork… this pretty face is masking some serious issues. For me, this was the most revealing of all the dates. First of all, her parents HATE her. Her mother suggests to Travis that Susan just went on the show for the fun of it. Liar! We all know she went on the show for her acting career. Mommy Dearest pulls Travis aside to make sure that he heard her right - her no-good daughter is not ready for a relationship (she just broke off an engagement), is not looking for anything serious, and really, she’s not their daughter, she just showed up on their doorstep with a 666 birthmark on her chest. Dad gets in on the action by asking on camera if she thinks this is going to help her career. As she leaves, they wonder aloud to the camera if she’s just “acting.” Is it any wonder she decides to stay at a hotel?

The girls get the last word in with pre-recorded messages. With Susan it feels a little like a job interview: “I’m really looking forward to falling in love with you,” she says in a professional voice. Susan, maybe acting just isn’t your thing. Sarah Nashville talks about how fun Nashville was, while Sarah Canada tell him she feels “fireworks.” Moana, meanwhile, has totally cracked… sobbing uncontrollably, hugging herself, and saying that Travis “completes” her.

Two hours later, someone is finally getting the axe, and it’s Sarah… Canada. They were just in “different places,” i.e. Travis was in his sweet Tudor in Nashville, and she had a bedroom (with its own phone line!) in Winnepeg.

That was great MaryAnn, thanks for posting it!

He's on Ellen DeGeneres today. Wonder if he's "fallen in love." ;)

I TIVO'd "The Soup" for this weekend. I hope they do a final montage of Sarah Canada moaning, purring and squeaking. :)

I guarentee they'll have something. They last couple of weeks they didn't show her best squeaks and moans. So they'll probably have fun with it.

Sarah Blondin is back at home after her Parisian adventure. (Chris Procaylo, SUN)

WINNIPEG - Most Candid Bachelorette Ever! Winnipeg beauty Sarah Blondin finally got to speak her mind yesterday about The Bachelor: Paris after the cone of silence was partially lifted in the wake of her departure from the show on ABC and City TV Monday.

And guess what? She's so over it. And she's totally over Best Bachelor Ever Travis Stork.

"I don't even think about him. It's kinda like, it happened so long ago, and everyone's just seeing it now -- but for me it's kinda like old news you know?"

Blondin, 23, is a good sport considering she's been in the media spotlight since The Sun first revealed her identity back in December. She laughs frequently as she chats about Stork, bad egg Dr. Allie G., the show's selective editing and ABC's habit of bleeping her sometimes-salty commentary -- especially during her tearful farewell Monday.

"They tend to bleep me a lot, don't they? I don't know why I got bleeped last night, I don't know how that happened. I think it's more dramatic or something." Blondin has watched every episode with her mom Julie or close friends, and it's not always fun, although she laughed out loud at her first appearance, when she pronounced Stork's borrowed chateau as "not too bad, eh?" Until then, she didn't realize she'd slipped into hoserspeak -- not that there's anything wrong with that. Like many viewers, she was annoyed at ABC's habit of referring to all the women as "American beauties."

Since the infamous Allie G. was swiftly jettisoned from the pack, Blondin says she didn't get to know her but did experience Allie G's wrath at the first rose ceremony.

"She was standing beside me, and I had my rose in my hand and I was commenting on how hot it was because there were so many lamps and lights and whatever in there and I was saying I was hot or my feet hurt, and she was just like 'Shut the f-- up. You got the first rose, shut the f-- up.' Truly, truly bitter."

As for the final three contestants, Blondin says Nashville Sarah is sweet but doesn't have romantic chemistry with Stork. She figures Stork is "really crazy" about Moana, even though the bachelorettes found her appalling -- "She's not a horrible person but she just did a lot of things that made us completely confused about her character" -- and perennial frontrunner Susan is "over-dramatic." Blondin was surprised when Susan virtually admitted on Monday she was on the show to further her acting career. And she denies publicity had anything to do with her own participation.

"I guess acting has been one of my passions, but it's not something I'm really trying to pursue," she says, adding that when she was offered a role in locally lensed teen horror flick Tamara she signed on as an adventure.

Ditto for The Bachelor: Paris. Blondin applied via the show's website last summer and was surprised when she was chosen. She has no regrets -- "It makes you stronger as an individual to have to go through something like that, it gives you more balls" -- but says she wouldn't do it again.

And she cautions viewers that they're not seeing the big picture. For example, her hometown scenes were edited to play up the insecure, jealous bachelorette storyline. And viewers don't see how the women are encouraged to lap up cocktails -- makes for more drama -- or how their emotions are manipulated. Isolated from friends, family and other men, they're encouraged to make the bachelor the focus of their existence.

"It was a little much. But you kinda get wrapped up into it, that's why you see so many women getting so emotional ... you somehow get manipulated into believing that it's real, or brainwashed in a sense you could say."

Blondin is contractually obliged to keep mum about the amount of time she spent in Paris and whether she was financially compensated, although she says she is out of pocket for wardrobe -- "You've gotta buy all those dresses, and I do not wear dresses," she laughs.

She also can't discuss whether she has a new boyfriend, but can say how, in hindsight, ER doc Stork is more Dr. McBland than Dr. McDreamy -- well, OK, we say he's bland, but Blondin doesn't disagree.

"It got to the point where I kinda just wished he became more real in a sense."

She also wishes the local media had been more supportive -- hey, we find the mating show reprehensible, not the contestants -- and, by the way, online message boards that claim she's a high school dropout are wrong. She graduated from Kelvin in 2001 and will return to U of W next fall, possibly with an eye toward a career in PR. She's getting hands-on experience now but after today, Blondin just hopes her 15 minutes are up. "Hopefully, I won't be in the paper every week."

For those of you that recorded The Soup, go watch it, you will :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao:

PS: When I mentioned it before, did I say it was on VH1? I was watching it on E! and was thinking that I may have accidently posted that it was on VH1. I'm going to go check my other post. SORRY if I misposted!

What does everyone think about the build up that someone will 'get busted?' They always build things way up and they end up being nothing. From what it looks like on the previews, he will ask Susan about her acting career and she will get all doe eyed and say she is a real person and is there for real reasons and blah blah blah and he will believe her. Guess we'll see ;)

They seem to keep hinting that he's going to pick moana.....yuck!

Liked seeing all the old shots from previous shows!!

Slightly OT- Did you see the KAY diamond commercial with the two couples in the restaurant - did the younger man look like the French guy from the Bachelorette with Andrew Firestone's former fiance?? Its caught my eye twice and I swear its him!

TIA

I'm sorry - I may be in the minority (it wouldn't be the 1st time!), but Moana is really starting to grow on me!

Her date with Travis, reminds me a lot of my dates with my DH. You could see the connection there. They have fun and they have spark. Nothing beats that. Okay... maybe some nice parents would help.

I think Sarah is trying a bit too hard to convince Travis that they have chemistry, instead of just letting it happen, or letting it go.

Next week should be good! :stir:

I missed to first date tonight. Quick recap?

Travis takes Moana to Venice and they get all romantic.

It was a nice date. To me, it seemed that they really connected.

Fabrice? Thank goodness I had paused my DVR, so I got to FF through the commercials! I couldn't stand him! He's the only one that's been a worse actor, than Susan, IMO.

I think it was Sarah's date, but when they were walking into the hotel, there was a small billboard near the entrance and the model on it looked like Moana!

I missed it!!! DH tried to tape it for me and :confused3 I know who got picked, but was wondering about any "updates" on previous couples. Besdies Trista and Ryan, did they talk about anyone else?

That had to be one of the most hilarious moments in Bachelor/ette history when Fabrice stated that he was sorry, but Jen, I don't want to marry you. :rotfl2: And yes, at a glance, the guy in the commercial looked like him! I'll have to look at it again.

I noticed that too about the poster looking like Moana!

I agree that Moana is growing on me too. And you always have to wonder about editing. Really, what was her worst crime? That she didn't go there all ga-ga over some guy she never met, and even as time went on in the beginning, that she didn't fall all over him when she didn't REALLY know him? And those girls had a lot of nerve complaining that Moana stole Travis again when she WON the massage with him in the bike race. When they showed "never before seen" clips, you see Moana interacting with the girls in a friendlier way.

Ok.. I don't know if this has been discussed or not.. but

anybody else think Travis is not a very good kisser? I mean maybe he is just really not good in front of the camera.. at least I hope so.....

as for the women left... very different women, different backgrounds, different emotional levels, different physical characteristics.

Sarah seems the perfect and easy choice for Travis.. but Moana seems to be more adventurous and more emotionally needy... attibutes which may be attractive to Travis

I'm glad he let Susan go.

As much as I'd like to see Travis with Sarah, their relationship still seems forced when it attempts to go past friendship.

All the other girls are going to have a cow if he ends up with Moana!!!
