OK so what's with all this lime green Mickey stuff I'm reading? Is that a way for DISners to recognize each other? How can I get one in the next 19 days?

Anyone gonna be around the parks Mon & Tues March 5 & 6 and want some company? DH will be working in seminars all day (the reason we're going) and I'll be by myself during then.

Also, anyone else taking the Keys To The Kingdom Tour on Wed the 7th? I'll be on the 9:30 one (we took it on our honeymoon and I liked it so much I wanna do it again!).

Yes, but it doesn't work too well, judging from the many threads about people not seeing any other DISers on their trips!

You go to Home Depot and get a lime green mickey head paint chip. You can attach it to your lanyard or backpack or coat. Lime green ribbons were the older method, and some DISers use both. Then there's always the lime green crocs!

I've started to get the summer clothes gathered....good to know that it is mostly short and T-shirt weather with an extra layer just in case. Now just have to try and track down those sunglasses for DS's. I know they all have a pair but who knows where they are???

I'm also on the hunt for sunglasses. I KNOW that both DDs have dark sunglasses, but all I can find are the ultra girly light lilac or rose colored lenses. I don't mind seeing the world through rose-colored glasses, but a little variety would be nice, too! LOL

We did the whole summer clothes try-on day last week, now it's just hoping that they don't have a huge growth spurt in the next 31 days!

After I heard that all of you were packing I forced my DF to go shopping with me last night for Maternity shorts and a bathing suit. He was just laughing at me the whole time because it is only 20 degrees here. I used the excuse I don't want to pack a week before the wedding or a day before our trip

Awesome link! I've been looking at weather.com but they only have a 10 day forecast. You guys look like fun...I wish our trips overlapped so we could meet you for a beer!

We did a big summer clothes try on session on our snow day on Wednesday. I now have big piles of clothes for dds and me that I need to go through and decide what to take. I love the anticipation!

Awesome link! I've been looking at weather.com but they only have a 10 day forecast.

Wonder how accurate the 15 day forecast is? It shows highs only in the 60s for Feb 28 and Mar 1...guess we won't be doing Kali River on Mar 1! Too cold!
Oh well, we had fun on it last year, but it's ok if we miss it this year, maybe extra ride on Everest instead!

One year when I was at WDW first weekend of March, I recall wearing shorts...but one day it was chilly, and of course I had to buy something!..Well I am sooo glad there is a lounge at POP!! Just one little cocktail!!

Thanks, pha1226, we've got a DIS get together scheduled for 3 pm,March 3 at the R&C for anyone who's there then. We'll be at WDW until 3/10 and if you're there and see us, say 'hi', we're always looking for an excuse to start a Happy Hour.

I don't put too much faith in any weather prediction more than 3 days out. Here's a link to actual historical data for Orlando for the last 7 or so years. It will give you some idea as to what the norms are.

Going March 24th through April 3rd as a Grand Gathering (Me, DH, DS, DD, DBIL, DSIL, DNephew and DNiece). Expecting massive crowds but still expecting to have a great time!!! CAN'T WAIT!!! We're counting down with a paper chain and the kiddos are busting at the seams already! 36 days to go!

Okay, I don't want you to get there & be disappointed...it's not a 'lounge' persay, but a bar w/ chairs. You could drink at that bar, by the pool where there are tables or in your room...maybe the food court tables inside too, not sure. But drinks are drinks Not that it's something I have to have but it does make vacation a wee bit more relaxing after the kids are asleep!!

Oh and I think it is called 'Petals', btw.

I am so glad I did, come too find out my DD14 has outgrown all of her shorts!!! Guess we will be shopping for summer clothes before we leave. I am getting so excited I can hardly stand it. The weather here in Northern IL. is just horrible this week, I am so ready for
