Official Survivor China Thread~~~ **Spoilers Inside**

I just keep thinking how dangerous can China possibly be?:confused3

All the items that they are required to use during the filming of the show were made in China. You know, lead paint, dirty chop sticks, etc.:rotfl:[/QUOTE]

I wonder if one of the challenges will be licking a recalled Polly Pocket or Batman? ;)

I can't wait for this one to start. I haven't watched Survivor since the 2nd season. I got tired of it really fast, but I love China and can't wait to see how they set this one up.

Go Chicken Man!!!!

WooHoo!! A mullet! I haven't seen one of those in a long time. OH it brings back memories.

Looks good... I'm sure the Chicken guy will be the funny, old, red-neck, hick guy! It seems like they always have one like that.

Hey watch out now. Chicken Morris may be all these things but at least give him a chance. He lives very close to my TN home. OK he probably will be all this but I be you will like him. Just a good ole boy! :cool1: :cool1:

From the list of this season's contestants I hope Chicken goes all the way....from his picture he seems personable but who knows what he may be like in "real" life!
Did you see on the SurvivorFever.net website where he says the hardest thing was going without snuff for 9 weeks!

The other contestant I was really surprised about was Todd Herzog who they claim is a gay Mormon---why do we really need to know that?
However, it does explain why he thinks the Spice Girls were the most significant thing to happen in the last 100 years!

Looking forward to the new season starting, and it will be interesting to see how things go in China--I was getting a little tired of the "South Seas Adventure" aspect.

I could see a lot of issues in China--aside from the ones mentioned, parts of the country are real remote, real backwards, by "typical American sitting at their compter surfing the 'net" standard. It should be fascinating.

When the Survivors attend the Buddhist ceremony and are instructed instructed to leave all of their worldly possessions behind, do you think they have to give up all they brought with htem to the show (clothing, etc)?

Also, do you think they will be told in advance about the hidden immunity idol which is in plain view at each camp? Otherwise how would they ever know it's there?:confused3

I like the fact that after this many seasons they can still add new twists to make the game different from the rest!

How strange that last year's WWE Diva Search winner is one of the 16. I wonder if any of the other cast members are WWE fans, lol.

I think the way the Immunity Idol will work is, the camp will have, say, a Chinese symbol hanging from the flag. The clues given to one member of the tribe, as described eaarlier, would eventually lead someone to figure out that the Chinese symbol is the idol.

It will be interesting to see how the whole "kidnap" thing works out versus Exile Island. I can see both good and bad in being kidnapped--you could be treated like a slave, or you could forge friendships and alliances. Or both.

This Survivor looks really good. I llove the kidnapping idea. I'm rooting for Chicken too. DH's roomate in college was named Chicken. (really a nickname - his last name was Little).

:yay:

Okay. I think Courtney's eyes are gonna roll right out of her head. She needs to get over herself(and the fact that she is from New York) real quick. I don't see her lasting long.

ITA!
I was surprised it seems like a few of them are already showing attitude

James...aaahh. I think I'm in love. I'm a sucker for the big silent types. I hope he manages to overcome his social awkwardness and bond with his tribe because I really like him. He is my pick to go to final 2(or 3 or whatever they're doing this year).
