Official Star Wars Weekends 2014 Tips and Tricks

I just moved from the CBR Pirate Room to AoA Cars Suite for the first weekend of SWW (May 14 to 18). I thought this would put us closer when we drive to the park. Plus I feel the Cars Suites are closer walking distance to the food court then the Pirate rooms are.

I was able to order a Jedi Mickey 3D cake for my DS 10th Birthday diner at Mama Melrose during SWW and I had Memories by Betsy do a SWW gift basket to be delivered for his birthday to the room.

I'm so excited about this trip!

How exciting!

I know I'd prefer a Cars Suite over CBR, however I don't think the drive will be much of a difference.

Please post pics of the cake!

He's going to have a great Star Wars themed birthday!!

Where is the SWW VIP listed on Disney's website?

I don't think it is listed, haven't seen any official announcement. Or do you mean the Disney characters as star wars characters?

The VIP package?

Do you have contact info for either of these places? DH birthday is May 19th, we arrive May 20th. I would love to have something like this in our room for him.

Is this going to be an option???

someone who booked the VIP package said that she was told that the VIP fireworks dessert party will be reserved for them and also for people who reserve the dessert party only, it's a wait and see at this moment since Disney hasn't even officialy posted anything about these VIP packages....

1 month away from the first SWW 2014 :hyper::cool1::banana::dance3::yay:

Sent you a PM message! Hope it helps. Let me know if you need anything else. I love helping!

My fp+ window just opened for May 16 (since I'm a AP ) and I was looking thru it and noticed that the last fp+ available for TSMM is from 7:05pm to 8:05pm, which has me thinking that TSMM will close at 8:30pm every night during SWW because of the fireworks. So plan accordingly
If anyone sees a later time for fp+ for TSMM let us know, my theory could be wrong

Thank you for the info. I would much rather do this then the Sci Fi breakfast we have booked(just a lot of money for breakfast) We have a early dinner on the 18th(SW H&V) so we would be already for dessert by firework time. I hope they do open it up soon, I would need to redo my FP+ that day.

That was me :). I was told when I booked the VIP that there are only 40 spots available each day for the VIP tour but 200 will be allowed into the dessert party, so they will be opening it up at some time, but he didn't know when.

Anyone try calling again about the dessert party viewing only? Maybe I will give them a call and see if they know anything more. :confused3

I'm dropping my May 23 at 6:30pm H&V Star Wars Dinner Reservation in case anyone wants to grab it.

Hope someone on DIS gets it!

Updated the first post to show all the confirmed information we have from the WDW site. No times for any of the shows or parade but we know that the fireworks will be at 9:45pm
Also, just got confirmation that nothing will be set up behind RnRC (old Darth's Mall location) so everything will be concentrated by Backlot Tour, Streets of America and Star Tours
