Official Star Wars Weekends 2014 Tips and Tricks

I tried to get one orange name tag with REBEL SPY as the name and YAVIN IV as the planet. However, it was rejected. Any one else have a problem?

I didn't think you could pre-order name tags based on what I had seen here? If you can pre-order, how do you do that?

The option to pre order is just for the people attending the Rebel Rendevouz merchandise event on May 15th. They will get an orange name tag

This will be the 3rd SWW for my fiancé and I!

Every year I wait until about a month before, then read through this entire thread, so now I am officially caught up and anxiously awaiting the rest of the announcements!

And maybe I'm crazy, but for some reason I remember the non-passholder name tags last time being green? Mine from the first year is blue, and my other half's is black and gold...but were the regular ones a different color?

I think you're right. I also got mine the first year (2012) that one was blue...yeah, last year's was green with the passholder one being black

From the southern part of Jax--near the Avenues Mall if you know the area--about 2:15 if blessed with no I-4 Orlando snarls.

When I called to ask about the VIP package they told me that Ray Park, Jeremy Bulloch, Billy Dee Williams and Mark Hamill were already confirmed to be coming we just don't know when (beside Mark Hamill). This is what the VIP tour guide said.

Do you think she would sign something other than Star Wars during Star Wars weekend? My daughter loves Mia the Bluebird on Sofia the First and has a stuffed Mia. I was wondering if she might sign the tag since my daughter want be with us during Star Wars Weekend.

I'm sure she will, she's one of the nicest people I've ever met at sww. Unless she has strict rules to only sign Her Universe merchandise

DW and I will be visiting DHS on the 16th this year, the first day of SWW. Actually, our plane leaves at 8pm that evening, so we will only be able to stay until the early afternoon anyway.

Am I crazy to want to see SWW? I'm not going to be after autographs, I just want to check it out, look at merch etc... Is it going to be a madhouse? I usually show up 1/2 hour before rope drop, but these stories of people lining up overnight scare me!! Any advice is appreciated!

It really depends on what you want to do...people that line up the night before are mainly going for celebrity autographs, people that get there 45 minutes before unofficial opening go for JTA...but if you just want to take it in and check it out you can go at anytime.
The only thing I would say is to go to look at merchandise later in the day, that first Friday is crazy at Darth's Mall
