Official Star Wars Weekends 2014 Tips and Tricks

Hi,

I'm new here and haven't been able to read through the 200 pages of posts yet, so I'm so sorry if this question has been asked and answered.

My husband and I are going for our 1st anniversary trip (yay!) and staying onsite for the first time at Coronado Springs. We'll be able to do one SWW day on May 18 and really want to get there in time for autograph lines. Will the buses be running early enough for us to get there by 6 or should we plan on taking a cab?

On a side note about the Mine Train FP+... I don't think I am crazy, but I am pretty sure we were able to reserve FP+ for MT about a month ago, but when we looked at our itinerary about a week ago, it was changed to the Space Ranger Spin, not something I would have chosen. Were they allowing some people to try to reserve FP+? Sadly now it doesn't matter since we will be leaving before it opens.

First of all welcome to the Dis

You need to take a cab to be at DHS for autograph fp...plan to get to the park at the latest 5:30am to make sure you get a fp for the actor of your choice
I don't believe 7DMT was offered as fp+ until today.

Alright weekend oners....or as I like to call ourselves SWW Guinea Pigs I was planning on a meet to be able to put as many faces to profile names as possible.
So, I'm going to DHS on Saturday and Sunday (May 17 and 18) I have the Feel the Force package for Saturday so if anyone else has that we can meet before the parade while waiting. If not, after the parade I plan to go to Backlot Express (QS by Star Tours) grab a couple of tables in the first room, as you enter to your left (the one with the glass around you so you can see out into the JTA stage)
I'll be wearing a SW shirt of some kind and my black Jedi Mickey cap...so if anyone wants to meet I'll be there until maybe 12:45pm
I'll also post this on the Roll Call thread,

So I am hoping Disney isn't crazy enough to release SWW show FP+ on the same day as SDMT FP+, but am worried. Anyone been able to confirm or deny that FP+ for SWW shows are available yet.

I can see all my fp+ but if I want to change any of them they don't show up...I wouldn't worry. I really don't think they will open this open with the mess they have now

I was able to finally get through to check Friday, May 30 to change FP+s. I looked at the options for both tier1 and non-tier1 FP+ change options and no SWW shows were yet listed. Just to let the other panic-ers like me know.

WOW, is that ALL it took to crash the system. I'm not sure what day is the first day you can obtain one for, but lets say the current window from start date to 60 days out is currently 40 days, it only handled an average of 12,000 per day and "couldn't handle it"

MDE must have been built by the same company that built healthcare.gov.

We have Feel the Force on the 17th as well - we are going to take a midday break after the parade but would love to say "hi" while waiting for the parade to start! You've been so helpful on this thread that I'd love to say "Thanks" in person! It will be myself, DH and my DD3!

browsing thru pictures on sww.studioscentral.com I found the perfect picture of how the tent where celebrities sign autographs look likes, people that don't have a fp/wristband can stand behind the green gate and take pictures of the actor/actress
