Official Star Wars Weekends 2014 Tips and Tricks

I tried to get one orange name tag with REBEL SPY as the name and YAVIN IV as the planet. However, it was rejected. Any one else have a problem?

Hmmm, did I missed something, are you ordering name tags already, or is this something to do with signing up for the Rebel Rendezvous?

I'm sure she will, she's one of the nicest people I've ever met at sww. Unless she has strict rules to only sign Her Universe merchandise

Awww!!! I didn't know she is a voice actor on Sofia the First! We don't watch it as often as we used to. One if Ethan's fav characters is Ahsoka. The Clone Wars was the catalyst for his love of Star Wars. I hope he will meet her.

Regarding food- we got the free quick service dining plan the last time we went but won't have that this time. I have the feeling I'm going to be packing non-perishable snacks because with minimum orders & delivery fees, I don't think it will be worth it for me and the 5 yr old to order ahead of time. I have crackers, etc but, honestly just need caffeine for the morning (coke or coffee- I hate there's no coffee maker in our room!). We are flying so packing a 6 pack of coke won't work ;-). Can a Disney bus get us close enough to the Hess? Or is there one witching walking distance of DTD?

You're staying at aoa, right? They should have some groceries there because if the suites.Maybe the official thread for AoA lists what they sell at the store there?

Actually Liam and Ray are the only reasons why I'm gonna watch Phantom Menace again (Ray is my biggest Hollywood crush, shhhhhh it's a secret lol).

Love Ray Parks, met him for the first time last year... He is way too kewl. His show is fun as well... Hope he's there again this year! (and hopefully my weekend too)

I AM ALL OVER the Caramelized Banana Stuffed French Toast- caramel sauce and strawberry compote YUMMY!

This is way better than I expected, thought it would be like Cindy's Castle in 2009.

It's beautiful when a lot of people have them, it loses the magic if it's just a dozen or so...but from all the shows/fireworks that offer the Glow With the Show my favorite is Fantasmic! followed closelyb y celebrate the magic at mk. I'm hoping a lot of people buy them and use them for the SW fireworks

When I called to ask about the VIP package they told me that Ray Park, Jeremy Bulloch, Billy Dee Williams and Mark Hamill were already confirmed to be coming we just don't know when (beside Mark Hamill). This is what the VIP tour guide said.

ahhhh well that makes sense on both why I have never seen them and why it looks like a promo shot It was just hard for me to imagine that many people buying them... they are neat and all but it looked like there wasn't a single soul in that picture without one!

DISNEY GIVE US A BREAK! t-minus 27 days 18 hours 22 minutes till weekend 1 opening (assuming 7 am opening) and no real OFFICIAL Celebrity list posted yet!

Not that any of us are last minute bookers but holy cow.... would be nice to know whose gonna be there at least for weekend one! let alone the other 4 weekends...

This is actually there modus operandi...they don't release information until the very last minute. When I was talking to the VIP tour guy he said that the final release of information comes from the entertainment dept. I'm sure they want everything to be perfectly planned out before announcing I just think that since they have complete control of Star Wars we thought they would have it together a little sooner
It always makes me sad seeing people walk up to CM at the celebrity tents around Echo Lake asking if they could get in line to meet them..."I'm sorry all the fps have been distributed for the day"...
At this very moment I have a tab open for the HUB, Disney Parks Blog and WDW, refreshing and checking if any new info is posted....

Yes I truly thought now that they owned it they would have a full scale planning crew know what was going on!

...and I know what you are talking about I saw the same thing last year with the CM's at the celebrity autographs. If I had not been on this board I wouldn't have known the real deal either for last year!

Just wanted to say thanks yulilin3 for all your awesome info, it's my first Star Wars Weekend and my first post here but with all your info it has really helped me out.
